    The DC-9 incident happened in Cincinnati and you are right...a fire broke out with many casualties. I believe this livery was in place for both incidents.

    Actually it was a Boeing 767 that made a successful landing in Gimli, Manitoba.

    Very nice work! I have a slightly off the wall question: do you know if this was the style of livery on the Air Canada plane that ran out of fuel and made an emergency landing on an abandoned airstrip? I think it happened in the 1980s and the tanks running dry had something to do with Canada switching from imperial to metric measurements. Sorry for the crazy question and thank you for sharing your talent with us by posting this flawless livery.

    Thank you so much for your feedback, I really appreciate it! You seem to be indeed talking about the Air Canada Flight 797, it was a DC-9 that had to do an Emergency Landing because it was on fire but that may not be it
