Description
Little Rock AFB is the primary C-130 Hercules training base for the Department of Defense, training C-130 pilots, navigators, flight engineers, and loadmasters from all branches of the US military in tactical airlift and aerial delivery. It is home to C-130H and C-130J aircraft, as well as the C-130 Center of Excellence (i.e., schools for C-130H and C-130J crews).
About: This scenery is a refresh of KLRF. This scenery heavily uses base game building models but I do my best to get it close enough or to a "good enough" state. Taxiways and painted lines are enhanced and close to the real thing. As it appears there are conflice between google and bing maps I tried my best to go with what seemed right. Note that there may be conflict of what was and what is today, although I dont expect there to be any conflicts.
Included:
Custom aprons and painted lines. The immediate flight line has buildings, objects and painted lines as well.
Lots of clutter.
Updated runway 07/25 and Assault Strip
C130s galor!
Fictional terminal has vip pax that are looking for a lift.
Known items added to the update list:
Ramp lettering
Center Taxiway lights. You get edge lights for now.

A lot of time and money goes into scenery. Though not required, any donations or a note of thanks is greatly appreciated. I take comments very seriously, so if you see anything that can be improved or fixes needed, please leave a comment!

Excellant work on this one. Father was AF and stationed here, so I spent alot of time on the base to include the transient line (before it was gated) watching anything that came in for a splash of gas. Worked at the O-club for a bit in high school. I just need a proper MSFS Herc to fly out of LRF!

Great add-on, along with Elmendorf AFB; at this piont, an Eielson AFB, just to complete Alaska, should be fantastic :-) :-)

Nice representation of "The Rock." I was stationed there in late 70s thru early 80s. FYI parking back in the day was by row. The row on the NE end of the ramp was Alpha row, with spot closest to the runway was spot 5 - that is A5. Spot closest to base ops was A1. New row was Bravo and so forth all the way down the ramp. Last row was Zulu even if the alphabet didn't go that far. In those days it was for the hard broke aircraft. I am re-entering my comment because when I went back in to rate the scenery, most of the comment was deleted. Thanks for fixing the half runway displaced threshold on RWY25.

Thanks! I did see those on google maps and plan to name them. Just need to make the material files and throw them in along with some other taxiway markings.

The file name is klrf-jacksonville right? not Little Rock?

Correct. KLRF (Little Rock AFB) is in Jacksonville Arkansas

OK, thank you for clearing that up. Didn't know that. I should have looked it up. Very nice scenery by the way. Five Stars from me.

Thanks! Glad you are enjoying it. Seeing Jacksonville confused me too at first.
