    Description

    The falkirk wheel boat lift in Scotland.
    this one is hand modeled, it's just under 50K polygons so should have little impact on performance
    I modeled it in Lightwave. there's a POI marker on it so it should be easy to find
    the boat lift is the only one of it's kind in the world and it connects the union canal with the forth and clyde canal near the town of Falkirk which is around halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh

    Absolutely brilliant! I was really surprised that Asobo didn't include it in the UK/Ireland update. They put The Kelpies in but left out the Falkirk Wheel which is just as iconic. Was really hoping that someone would make this mod, thank you! The mod is very, very well done.

    yeah it was a strange omission from the update.
    but I'm kinda glad they didn't do it or this mod would be redundant,
    it's also strange that they didn't touch Glasgow at all (but again that would have made a TON of my mods redundant :)

    This is a fantastic model MR, works great with the Kelpies recently added by Asobo in UK update. The addition of the Spitfire Memorial in Grangemouth would be perfect for a trio of sightseeing pleasures.

    Lovely, thank you for your contribution! Could you do the community a small additional favor, though, and make sure that your manifest files are complete in your releases? This one is lacking a title, which makes it hard to know just what's in any given package when you look at it later. Thanks!

    can I just edit the manifest Json or do I need to rebuild the package from within the SDK?

    You should just be able to edit the manifest.json as a quick fix, but you'll probably want to update the project configuration so that the change sticks the next time you compile it. I'd either do it through the dev mode editor, or if you want to avoid that, just edit the package definition file (in PackageDefinitions, if you've followed the typical project structure) directly. Thanks for considering this. :)

    I doubt I'll be recompiling it so I've just edited the Json as a quick fix for now and I'll make sure that any future projects have all the correct data entered
