PC-6 Swiss Liveries - Air Glaciers and Swiss Air Force - Image 2

    Description

This is for the default MSFS PC-6!!

Updated Nov 30, 2021: SAF livery Patrouille Suisse "Felix" V-622 added!

Updated Nov 21, 2021, Based on your feedback: SAF livery much less shiny and as wheel version added!

These are two fine scale liveries for the new default PC-6 in MSFS!

To bring more colors to your freshly updated MSFS, here are two iconic Pilatus Porter liveries for the Ski version:

With these two planes, you get the perfect aircraft to land on the Swiss Glaciers. There are only a couple of dozens of specially trained pilots, who land on Europe's highest Mountains with Ski Planes.

And, why not choose my Frutigen airport as starting place, as Frutigen lays so close to the glaciers and the Blüemlisalp Aera, that you hardly can reach the required 10000ft altitude as the crow flies? The glaciers on the southside of the Blüemlisalp (the landing spots are the U-marks on page 3 of the linked pdf) are probably the no-1 hotspot for glacier flying in Europe, it is also the place where Hermann Geiger in 1952 pionerred landings on high altitude glacier landing strips.

For some impressions, check out these videos:
    https://www.gletscherflug.ch/index.php/flugvorbereitung-2/video-gletscheranfluege/

You don't need any special scenery to land at these places. If you like, you can enable snow. There are however also a couple of glacier landing strips available on flightsim.to.

    Stunning liveries!

Any chance you could create the red Air Glaciers for the Milviz PC-6? (the other liveries already exist for that bird)

    Thank you

Wrong Thumbnail pictures for the "Felix". Still the swiss camo thumbnails. Is it possible to make the package for individual livery install. I only 'need" the Felix one. Thanks for your efforts!

Looks great. I was looking for the Felix red/white in the first photo.

Beautiful paint jobs but V-622 "Felix" should have a little 22 sign on his nose. Take a look at this.

And it would be nice not to have to add all the painted ones, but only what you want because I'm only interested in V622 "Felix".

I have copied the unzipped file into my community folder but for some reason the liveries are not showing on the aircraft window?

Serait-il possible d'avoir une peinture mat sur le V-633 ?

Would it be possible that you make the V-633 also for the Glass Cockpit one?
