    Description

    The Mackinac Bridge (/ˈmækɪnɔː/ MAK-in-aw) is a suspension bridge spanning the Straits of Mackinac to connect the Upper and Lower Peninsulas of the U.S. state of Michigan. Opened in 1957, the 26,372-foot-long (4.995 mi; 8.038 km)[1] bridge (familiarly known as "Big Mac" and "Mighty Mac")[4] is the world's 24th-longest main span and the longest suspension bridge between anchorages in the Americas.[5] The Mackinac Bridge is part of Interstate 75 and the Lake Michigan and Huron components of the Great Lakes Circle Tour across the straits; it is also a segment of the U.S. North Country National Scenic Trail. The bridge connects the city of St. Ignace on the north end with the village of Mackinaw City on the south.

    Love your additions - thank you - it was really disappointing to fly up to see the bridge in FS2020 and nothing.
    However this add on (others are fine) doesn't seem to unzip and aborts part way through. I downloaded it several times and tried winrar and windows built in unzip. Both start to unpack and seem to abort. Corrupted file?
    I'd love to get this? Is there a link other than on the flightsim.to site?
    PS Mac Island would be pretty cool too.
    I use to scuba dive the wrecks around the bridge. I wonder? it would be cool if they could be seen below the water? At least the more shallow wrecks like the Sandusky.
    Looking in the unpacked DIR - I don't see any bridge data. A filename with 2k and some "my business" place holder and no real data.

    Kudos, We appreciate the effort to enhance the Michigan scenery. We have some acreage in the Manistique area, and the U.P. has been our hunting and vacation destination since I was a pup. Always look forward to that first glimpse of the Mighty Mac as we roll N. on I 75. Great work and if boredom should ever set in, I've got my local A.P. KMFD in Mansfield, Oh. that needs some serious attention. Thanks Again, LAS

    I needed to take time away to do some "Paperwork" :( but I'll be back with several Michigan airports this summer, thanks for everything.

    Me too - I think FS2020 addedd it and now this one is redundant.

    But there are extras in this package. So he needs to add a eraser polygon to remove the fs2020 version. = (

    My guess is with World Update 2, the Mackinac Bridge was added into the simulator as a POI so that is why you will now see two bridges. What we need is this package updated to only include the enhancements at the airport.

    My hero! You've answered my prayers (and my request). What, after all, is Michigan without Mighty Mac?
    I'll rate after I've installed and visited - but it looks good from here.

    Thanks for the KMCD fixes in 4.0! Any chance of fixing The Grand Hotel on the island? It's some brown warehouse looking thing right now in the default scenery unfortunately.

    Incredible...thank you so much...love your Michigan scenery...hopefully these cities are on your list-traverse city, escanaba, houghton, marquette, petosky, copper harbor and charlevoix...one of the most beautiful states in the US

    It is. but while doing these sceneries, its hard not to notice how much each city has been abandoned, and seeing the urban sprawl from the air. So many empty lots. Its not like it used to be in the city.

    yes I love these old industrial cities in the midwest, but your right lots of abandoned properties-especially the first series you did. Unfortunately scenery and tourism doesn't bring in the kind of stable financial resources that sustain the middle class.

    Love it! Only suggestion is changing the name of the project to Mackinac Bridge, it doesn't show up on this site if you search for "mackinac".

    Any chance of having the traffic go over the bridge rather than run along the top of the water? The bridge itself is great!

    thats the plan, along with textures in v2.0. same with the bluewater bridge. Maybe not so much the International bridge in SS marie
