| KGPI - Glacier Park International Airport
KGPI is a high elevation airport located in the Flathead Valley in northwestern Montana. The airport has two runways; the main runway being 02/20 with 9,000ft available for takeoffs and landings. The terminal has 5 gates, 2 of which have dedicated jetways. The primary FBO is Glacier Jet Center which supports everything from small GA props to large private jets. The airport is surrounded on 3 sides by tall mountains making approaches to this airport as beautiul as they are challenging.

Resurfaced all taxiways, runways, aprons, service roads, and parking lots
30+ custom 3D models and materials
Added functioning jetways to the approapriate gates
Repainted lines for the entire airport; added custom lines and apron paint
Added parking lots, a majority of the airport's fences, and immersive night lighting
Handplaced all taxiway signs
Removed a lot of satellite artifacts and random windsocks
Compatible with in-game AI traffic (for the most part)
A lot of other miscellaneous stuff...
Potential Updates:
Add the hotel next to the airport
Bug fixes
Correct the ILS autotune issue
Known Issues:
No ILS autotuning.

Thanks! Everything should be compatible. The reason I don't mark them as compatible is because it takes too much time to go through each mod and mark it as compatible after every sim update. I think the last time I did that it took almost 45 minutes for all airports and the handful of liveries I have.

What a great airport you made with your version of KGPI ! I do not know USA geography very well, but it is a very scenic area. Had the chance to shoot the all curved RNAV20 approach with the new FENIX A320, fantastic !
Only regret is the pieces of jetways are not connected together (as a user below did notice also). Mayne if you can have a look.

Thanks! Something is going on with SU9 that is disconnecting jetways. I can't for the life of me figure out whether it's the sim or something that changed in the SDK. Will certainly update if I can figure it out. Sometimes they are fine for me but when I do another flight they are disconnected.

Just flew in from KPIA, long flight, but worth it. Love the snow equip and wrought iron on the East part of the field. Also, did you do the roads, for some reason, they stand out nicely. Like seeing get numbers but a bonus would have been to have them on the building in case they get covered by snow on tarmac. Might add some people standing. Not sure if you can open up those small hangers in front of gate 3, or put a pic on the doors to make it seem their open . Be pretty cool to see a burrito truck, lol. Oh, trash in the blue bin would be a added touch.

Nice work! I noticed one issue that you may already be aware of. Both jet bridges contain gaps and are not fully connected. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Sometimes I think the game just doesn't link the two parts correctly. It's anyone's guess why it does that though haha

This is great and much appreciated! I was wondering if you have plans for Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport (KBZN)? The generic one in the Sim is junk and does not do it justice whatsoever!!! It is the Busiest and in my opinion the best Airport in the state of Montana and has recently had Terminal expansion and a large Parking Garage Complex added! I may be a bit biased since I live about 10 miles from the Airport!

Funny enough, before I made GPI I was considering making BZN instead. I may get around to doing it in the future.

Love it! The only thing that was noticeably off to me was the orientation of cars in the main parking lot (they expanded it and changed the layout to slanted east/west columns a few years back).

Thanks for info! I was seeing pictures of both orientations and didn't know which was more recent so I went with the straight orientation because it was significantly easier to assemble haha.

I'm getting pink ground on the parking area. Has anyone else been getting this? Possible conflict with REX global textures? Not found this before on any other 3rd party airport.

I've seen this on one of my other airports (KMKE) but not at KGPI yet. I don't know what the issue could possibly be because I use stock Asobo assets for everything other than custom buildings and runway/taxiway lines which aren't the things turning pink. I've noticed that it happens most often when I have a scenery data cache enabled so maybe it's related to that?

This is magical! I was in MS a few months back going from Yellowstone up to Montana and wanted to cross the mountains, as I was streaming to my gf at the time and trying to follow the course of a roadtrip she made a year earlier. Following the road from St Mary through the passes to La Salle was spectacular. As I got to La Salle I hoped very much there would be a nice freeware airport for it one day. Thank you for making that a reality!
