Description
I redid my Tekapo scenery (https://www.flightsim.to/file/3334/tekapo) to match the orbx New Zealand mesh.
I also added the following.
1. Handcrafted buildings, signage amd the Astro Cafe to the Mt John observatory.
2. Replaced the default Asobo bridge with a model of the actual dam.
3. Added rocks and bushes around the church.
Installation: just unzip and copy to the community folder.
You will need the orbx mesh (maybe the free one might work but I haven't tested it) and if you want people to appear at the Astro Cafe you will need Dave's 3d people library.

I also highly recommend the brilliant Lake Tekapo airport by Sergio Del Rosso
For a good taste of the scenery, I suggest you pick clear skies and fly from Tekapo (NZTL) to Mt Cook (NZMC) . As you depart head along the river to Lake Tekapo where you can see the dam and church. Then up over Mt john for a view of the observatory.

With the recent WU for Spain and Malta Asobo have stuffed up DEM elevations for all custom mesh. Orbx is aware of the problem and waiting on a fix from whoever is responsible.

This scenery causes the Marketplace and Content Manager to not load. I have this happen with other mods that use Dave's Libraries. Perhaps a SU5 issue?
EDIT: Found the cause. You cannot use ' in a folder name now. (Dave's Library, Ryan's Creek etc). This was never a problem before SU5 so I didn't suspect this. I'm glad it wasn't anything to do with your mod but frustrated with all the changes Asobo make that break things.

Hi If you use MSFS addons linker you can use any folder structure you want as the library can reside outside of the Community folder

No that's not right. I use MSFS Addons Linker and the link it creates in the community folder uses the same naming as the original, so if there is an apostraphe in the source folder there will be one in the link. You cannot use apostraphe's.

I'm waiting for a response from Dave about his library. I will be doing a new version as soon as orbx update the mesh. If Dave has not fixed his library by then I'll leave it out of the update.

Don't leave it out. It's a good library. I posted the same information on Dave's page mainly so people are aware. This is an issue with the way the sim is written. I think we just have to work with it. There are a few other scenery mods that include apostraphes in their names and I have made the mistake of renaming folders and including them. Knowledge is the key eh, so sharing this will help others.

now the mod causes significant image distortion after recent wu , and wonder the issue is orbx NZ mesh related , the mod of milford sound has similar problem.
