![[B747-8i] Southwest Airlines Livery - 8K - Image 1](https://cdn.flightsim.to/images/14/Wf25gjh6.png)
Description
Known Issues
- Mirroring - please see my notes below as I will eventually try mixMugz' method to fix this eventually
- Artifacting - Due to how Asobo setup their mipmaps / UV mapping, there is no fix at the moment
- No 'Southwest.com' on engines - With how Asobo UV mapped the engines, it's impossible to get even a few lined up at the same time
- Blue rear doors - Due to the UV map, most doors are identical - either the front can be red and back blue, or visa versa
This livery is for the Boeing 747-8i by Asobo. I am aware that mixMugz recently released a tutorial on fixing mirroring, but due to the complexity and time involved, I'll be taking this project on at a later date (unless Asobo fixes it first).

Your logo is backwards on the opposite side. While I love this livery, that is just silly. Sorry. I have a pic I will post in the forums.

There's no need - the first bullet point in the 'Known Issues' at the top of both the livery description as well as the details state this.
This was impossible to fix in the first year+ of MSFS's release, and now still requires extra modeling work to fix. Since this aircraft has lower usage than other liveries I work on, it's currently lower in priority for me to try to get up to speed with some of the workaround that are required to fix this fictional livery.
While I appreciate the feedback, I don't know if it completely warrants a 1-star considering it's called out in the description (I wish Asobo would make it easier for livery designers - it's an issue still today on both the 747 and 787 by default).
Here's the only current (lengthy) workaround I know of https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/howto-creating-unmirored-liveries-or-ultra-quality-decals-method/400961

When could this be fixed? No need to rush or anything but its a nice livery sadly its mirrored.

Unfortunately unless there is a simpler way to achieve the non-mirrored affect that I haven't seen besides adjusting the model itself (method in the notes), this will be pretty low on the list.
I'm currently working on an airport, will be watching for PMDG 737s to see if a higher quality livery would be helpful for the community when those release, and need to continue working on the Douglas DC-9 series, MD-80s, and Boeing 717 once they release for the range of Midwest Express/Airlines I'm still working on.
I'm open to lifting modification permissions if someone can fix the mirror!
