Important news: Dropped MSFS 2020 version.

    _____________________________________

Version 2.0 of my ORBX LKPR Upgraded addon.

    Changes:

Changed TWY J, which is more true to life than the previous one.

Visually changed TWY L1 to be more true to life as well.

Fixed terrain glitch at TWY A.

Blocked off TWY K and stand 70 a bit more clearly.

    New content:

All alternative stands have been added and are integrated into the airport TWY system. Where applicable, the stands have associated jetways. On stands 1B, 3B and 24B, there are no jetways due to the sim limiting jetways to one stand only. (Stands function as walk-in stands.)

All stands 1-31, all E stands, stands 58A, 58, 58B, 50, M1, M1A and M1B have their spawn positions precisely tuned to spawn planes with their nosewheel on the Tbar. Tested with default Cessna 172, default 737-MAX 8, TFDi MD-11 and FBW A380 where applicable.

Completely reworked cargo apron. Now stands, TWYs and layout matches current situation IRL.

Completely reworked TWY B2 and its connections. Now the whole TWY matches current situation IRL.

Added a ton of missing and edited many wrong markings on aprons (north, cargo and south).

Covered up and altered wrong numbers on signs near stands 9-12 and 17-20. (ORBX just copied "finger" C of the terminal without changing the numbers).

Fixed TWY H1 and surrounding markings. Now matches current situation IRL.

All TWYS have been tested with navigraph maps and are close enough to the 'official' layout to be safely used on VATSIM etc. (See screenshots for details).

    What remains:

Most of north and south apron stands don't have precisely tuned spawn positions. The process of tuning is extremely time-consuming and the original positions should be "close enough."

TWY L1 has a rather steep gradient. Removing it would require terraforming half the airport. It is still perfectly navigable, but requires quite a lot of thrust when going from H1 to L, so be aware.

    Installation:

If upgrading: Delete original folders named "horin-airport-lkpr-prague" and "zzz-lkpr-ruzyne" and replace them with new ones.

If fresh installing: Extract contents into your community folder.

    Speical thanks:

VACC - Czechia discord members for providing me more accurate maps for the new TWY J.

Ondřel Roblík for providing models and textures for the signs used at stands 9-12

Kilian for helping me solve Blender export issue, that delayed the whole project by a week.

    Comments:

I really did try to put a lot more effort into the new version, I hope you'll enjoy it. Any feedback/bugfinds or comments are greatly appreciated!

Hi love your modifications to the airport. Unfortunately I think I've spotted a bug. There seems to be a number of floating cars below the car park/road next to terminal 2. Everything else looks good

I'll take a look at it, but this is in the part of the airport I have not really touched. I suspect bleed through from the original ORBX scenery along with elevation changes caused this. Not sure if it will be fixed in next update, since I am focusing on fixing the jetway length and preparing for more changes to Pier C between stands 22 and 24.

It is no longer necessary. The whole addon has been merged into one package (see changelog) :)

The readme.txt refers to the old package. Does the same procedure apply for scenery priority for this one also?

It does, only omit the parts which are not installed. The "Upgraded" package has to have higher priority than the ORBX one and the ORBX has to have higher priority than any other package that refers to LKPR.

I cant find any enclosed readme.txt in this package as per installation instruction above. (For MSFS 2020 installation see included readme.txt)

    Ahoj,

jako základ si musíš pořídit přímo scenérku od ORBX ( https://orbxdirect.com/product/lkpr-msfs ), to si hodíš do community folder, pak tam přidáš to, co jsi si stáhl tady a bude to ok.

May I ask how you fixed this. And if you could fix MK Scenery EFHK.

Sure, I used Airport design editor to export the existing TWY system from the scenery bgl in order to not to have to redo it all manually. Then there are two ways to proceed - you can either do your TWY system changes in ADE and your visual changes in SDK, or you can export an xml from ADE and then manually copy parts of it into SDKs own xml and continue your edits in SDK. For 2020 you once again have to copy certain parts of 2024 xml into 2020 or you have to point ADE to 2020 install. I unfortunately don't have the scenery in question, but I once i get through my backlog (currently working on LKMT and LZKZ) I could take a look at it. Do you have any info about the changes that were made there? If so, shoot me a PM ;)

    ORBX LKPR Upgraded

The ORBX LKPR Upgraded add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator enhances Prague Václav Havel Airport (LKPR) with significant updates. This version includes a reworked taxiway layout, improved stand markings, and the integration of all alternative stands into the airports taxiway system. Terrain glitches have been fixed, and the entire layout now reflects real-world conditions more accurately. Compatibility is ensured with both MSFS 2020 and 2024.

    Version History

Dropping support for 2020. If there is enough demand (let me know in comments), I will try to find a way to implement new changes in 2020. Don't forget to download new matching GSX profile as well! List of changes: - modified model for Pier C to match IRL. - removed old bridgehead - moved current bridgeheads into their proper positions - Adjusted stands 17-20 and their associated TWYs to match their coordinates IRL - Redid the lighting system around Pier C - implemented LOD system for terminal building Known issues: Jetway at stand 17 passes through a pole when connecting - will be resolved in the next update. Jetway at stand 18 is too short. Nothing I can do here. The terminal building geometry as well as parking space positioning are correct. The original ORBX model is simply too short to reach.
