    Description

    This is a repaint for the marvelous Starship by Black Square. N8244L (serial number NC-29) was built in 1992 and is currently the only airworthy Starship in Europe. This livery makes use of Black Square’s dynamic tail number system, so you can change the tail number as you like.

    Installation

    Simply drag and drop the 'livery-starship-n8244l' folder into your MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024 Community folder.

    IF somebody doesnt have the livery but the plane - can you decide what the other person will see ? some kind of fallback livery ?

    yes Tim i know but often you see not a starship but a 320 or whatever. if the other person doesnt have the livery -> a320 . even he has the plane.

    i thought maybe you can define what gets shown

    Good afternoon,

    The livery is beautiful but I cannot see the registration number on the engine as it is just blank white. IS there any way to fix this in MSFS2024? Thanks for the help and all the best

    The dynamic registration is now disabled by default due to all the issues with it. You can enable it in the EFB. Hopefully SU4 will fix these issues.

    Is this compatible with the latest Starship update? When I load into MSFS 2020 it doesn't appear to work correctly (white livery and no EFB for starters).

    Yes, it works just fine! But please make sure that you use the correct version (MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024) of this livery for your simulator.

    Hi mate, my livery painter has done a livery for our stream but the NAV function doesn't seem to operate at all - did you come across this issue?

    That was my original plan. Unfortunately, both engine nacelles use the same texture. Therefore, it is not possible to add a painted registration to them.

    Thanks a lot! Yes, sadly the dynamic registration system in MSFS 2020 is still very buggy. I've heard that SU3 will fix most of the issues. Hopefully that is true.
