    Description

    This is a repaint for the excellent A2A Piper PA-24 Comanche. N6494P is a 1959 Piper PA-24-250 Comanche. After being stored as a restoration project for over 31 years, Greg Piehl and his family purchased and completely restored N6494P. In July 2021 it flew for the first time in 34 years. ryanbatc and I tried our best to recreate this beautiful aircraft. It comes with a custom interior and also supports the custom registration system.   

    Installation

    Simply drag and drop the 'livery-a2a-pa24-n6494p' folder into your MSFS Community folder. The folder contains both versions, the one with the painted registration and the one with the custom registration number.

    Very beautiful interior, but I'm experiencing a bug with this livery in the native Comanche version for MSFS 2024 where the rotating beacon is visible inside the cockpit at night.

    This is not an issue specific to the livery, but rather a general issue with the A2A Comanche. Fortunately, A2A has confirmed that this will be resolved in the next update.

    Whenever I use the dynamic registration livery, the GTN 750 I have loads in white screen and cannot be used.

    A2A fixed that issue with V1.6.5 of the Comanche. So please install the latest update.

    Is it possible that the dynamic registration does not work with the latest updates for the Comanche for MSFS202? Otherwise superb livery!

    I've just tested it and it works just fine. Please make sure that the "Show Tail Number" option is not set to off.

    Please tell me how to change the registration number. In the settings I set something like D-AUXY, but the aircraft loads without it — it's not visible either in the cabin or outside in MSFS 2024.

    Unfortunately, the dynamic registration system in MSFS 2024 is still pretty broken. That's why I've marked this livery as compatible with MSFS 2020 only. Hopefully, SU3 will resolve most of the issues.
