    Description

    Hello,

    My first goal was to make the Fenix Series handle more consistently, and also increase stability against wind and atmosphere variation.
    Quickly it grew to include other changes mentioned below.
    Unfortunately, my custom wingflex is only available for the FS24 version.

    Changes Included For All Variants.

     

     

    Includes:
     

    • Handling Consisitency Between 319/320/321 (Ground/Air)

    • Flight Stability (vs Wind/Atmosphere)

    • Custom Lift-AOA Tables (New Rotation/Flare Behavior)

    • Reduced Elevator Effectiveness (Slightly)

    • Modified Flaps Lift/Drag (Improvements planned)

    • Added Brake Performance (Reduced sensitivity, Release-delay , Max pressure, etc...)

    • Other Small Tweaks (to control surfaces, etc.)

     

     

    FS24 Only:
     

    • Custom 'Realistic' WingFlex and M-O-I Reduction (Forces match those seen in-cabin)

     

     

    Testing Notes:

    • Reduced control responses at or near stalling speeds (for slow flights, please use the Fenix flight model).
    • Slight aileron droop with autopilot enabled (just a visual thing).
    • Possible aileron deflection-overload (just a visual thing).

     


    Installation:

    I developed a script to port my changes into the required aircraft files.

    Manual Install instructions are also included.

    Ensure you have appropriate permissions, you may need to select "run as administrator"

    Follow the install directions carefully and slowly!

    What a treat this mod is. Using it today after BFU's. (Disclaimer I am not a rated Airbus Pilot but I do have some time in the FSS).

    My settings are realistic turbulence (we can argue back and forth) but it is notable that the airplane behaves like a heavy airplane and wind gusts/turbulences are managed a lot better (like a statically stable airplane would). No more 20 degree heading swings with a 10kt gust . The airplane still works through the gusts but way less disturbed than with the default Fenix model. Another great addition: elevator effectiveness after touchdown. The real airplane starts a nose down trim at around 50ft and continues doing that after touchdown. Therefore the procedure after touchdown is flying the nosewheel to the ground with continued backstick input which was impossible with the fenix as the nose would pop up. This mod removes that behavior a lot closer to real life. Great work and thank you.

    Hello, i am getting this msg when runing CFGport
    The argument 'C:\Users\raphl\AppData\Local\Temp\50221eac-7bc4-4b7b-bf8a-8d4febe0f9ff_FFPackFS2024_n1wPy.zip.9ff\FFPackFS2024\CFGPORT\CFGPORT.ps1' to the -File parameter does not exist. Provide the path to an existing '.ps1' file as an argument to the -File parameter.

    I have tried with CFGPORT powershell, it does not work tried the manual mode, none of the fenix airbuses shows up, MSFS2024!

    Hello did the script create a logfile.log?
    If there is no Logfile created, the script may not have started, which would prevent the aircraft from loading in-sim.
    If during manual install and aircraft do not load, it could be from incorrect or missing lines/values.
    Also, make sure if you modify one aircraft variant (A319 CFM for example), that you modify all similar variants also (A319 IAE), to prevent a flight model mismatch.
    I will update manual instructions with further clarification.

    Anyone with PowerShell issues follow the google AI instructions in the link below to get PowerShell to allow scripts to run. It's a security measure in place blocking the script from running. Once all complete then run the Script and it should work.

    My issue is when following the install steps, the auto one, the screen flashes black and then nothing comes up about the generator. So Im not sure it worked. Thanks await you response.
