    Description

    Meersburg is a idyllic City in the state of Baden-Württemberg, south of Germany with a well preserved medieval town center. It's located on the banks of Lake Constance. The fortress and the castles are clearly visible from the swiss boarder. Nice for a Sight Seeing Flight are the old town of Meersburg, the city of Constance and Mainau (island, also available here as scenery). The next airfield is the EDTZ Flugplatz Konstanz with a grass airfield, and the nearest Airport is EDNY Bodensee Airport Friedrichshafen. Enjoy!

    Extract scenery_meersburg and move the folder into the Community folder. Don't forget to restart the Microsoft Flight Simulaor after that. Thats it!

    Tolle Arbeit - mein Respekt!

    Könntest du vlt. auch mal die Altstadt von Engen machen? Ich wohne dort und die ist auch aus der Luft sehr schön. SInd ca. 30 km bis Radolfzell.

    Hi! Danke fürs Kompliment. Engen sieht auch hübsch aus. Aber die Altstadt ist im Google Earth nicht 3D. Darum lässt es sich leider nicht importieren

    Friedrichshafen gibts schon von Papierfranz. Er hats unter Landmarks abgelegt. Am Besten du schaust mal auf die Scenery-Map, gibt nämlich schon einiges um den Bodensee.
    Zu Immenstaad fehlt mir etwas der Bezug, und ich sehe da kein markantes Zentrum, daher eher nicht. Wird ja mit Photogrammetry auch nicht alles besser, z.B. Bäume, Farbton usw. sehen original schon besser aus, so wie sie im Sim schon sind. Ich konzentriere mich darum auf Altstädte und Wahrzeichen die man sonst einfach nicht erkennen würde

    Großartig Arbeit! Konstanz/Kreuzlingen oder Radolfzell mit dem schönen Münsterturm wäre auch richtig schön.

    Danke dir! Konstanz habe ich auch gemacht, und weitere Orte am Bodensee und in näherer Umgebung gibts auch schon (z.B. Insel Mainau und Bregenz). Radolfzell und Lindau hätte ich auch gerne gemacht, aber da gibts in Google Earth keine 3D-Daten. Darum bin ich jetzt mal etwas weg vom Bodensee

    Eine fantastische Arbeit, wenn nicht diese gruseligen Bäume wären. Können sie diese nicht weglassen? Das wäre eine unermessliche Aufwertung ihrer Arbeit.

    leider nein. die werden von der google-earth-datei so übernommen. immerhin wurden die aufnahmen im sommer gemacht und die bäume sind grün. bei städten wie st. gallen oder luzern sind die aufnahmen aus dem herbst/winter. da sehen die wälder dann wie abgebrannt aus, was ich dann mit zusätzlicher vegetation versuche zu überdecken

    I was very happy when found your Meersburg scenery on Flightsim.to (as I asked you some days ago). So I immediatly saddled the Pitts, took off from EDTZ and could not get enough from that wonderfull scenery of one of my favorit places at the Bodensee, recocognizing all the places I've often been before.
