    The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 is an American trijet wide-body airliner manufactured by American manufacturer McDonnell Douglas (MDC) and later by Boeing. Following DC-10 development studies, the MD-11 program was launched on December 30, 1986. Assembly of the first prototype began on March 9, 1988. Its maiden flight occurred on January 10, 1990, and it achieved Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification on November 8. The first delivery was to Finnair on December 7 and it entered service on December 20, 1990.

    Hello, I am having issues with this aircraft, it doesn't show in the My Hanger tab in the game, it also doesn't show in the free flight after I select an airport. I have read the requirements needed for the aircraft to be in the game; I had noticed that it needs the FSLTL Base Model, which I have that installed via FlyByWire Installer, and I do have the Asobo 747-8i, it just won't show in the game, but it shows the aircraft types in the aircraft selection. Could there be something that I might have missed, because I think I might have missed something, if so, please do let me know, I really hope I am not being rude; if I am, I sincerely apologize. But overall, this plane is really cool. I hope that you understand this problem and thank you so much for making this mod for MSFS. (It now appears in the My Hanger tab and Free Flight, Thank you so much).

    You clearly have skills - but using them to make these "Frankenstein's monster" aircraft is not a good way to use those skills. I mean come on, these planes are ridiculous. Using AI models, adding random cockpits, many parts not animated. Can't you apply your skills to something more worthwhile, wholesome and realistic?

    BTW... further down these comments, you said "MSFS 2020 is best". That is absolutely not true, as of today (Feb 2026). MS2020 is an old, replaced platform. 2024 has so so many improvements. It amazes me how many creators waste their time creating content for an old sim, when something so much better is available for them. Time for you to upgrade my friend.

    First of all, "msfs2020 is the best” it's asid about this airplane is best to use in msfs2020，not this platform, and second, I do these things just to learn more. Master the basic development of msfs, and send it out for everyone's entertainment (not at the learning level or commercial level). What you said about "putting the cockpit into an AI model" is the basis of a machine model, and how many individuals can make a machine model from scratch on all platforms? On this platform, it is either a fsx shell or a fsx conversion, or an open-source aircraft model shell, To be honest, making things is just one of my hobbies, not a place where I need to invest (my studies need to be invested in), I am glad that you can tell me my shortcomings, but you also need to consider the difficulty of implementation.

    mod is nice. Using 747 's cockpit is really much better than other mods using a320neo's coclpit.But it has a disadvantage that the light is dark outside the plane although I already turn on it

    It's use the Asobo 747 cockpit，if you are using third part VFR map，that may not work，but if you just use the original map in the game，it's definitely can work.Also，if u use the msfs2024…I'm not said that it can full work in it，so it don't have the 2024 title
