    Description

    This is a repaint for the Microsoft/Carenado Cessna 404 Titan which is part of the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Deluxe Edition. Cape Air is an airline based in Hyannis, Massachusetts, USA. It operates scheduled passenger service in the Northeast, the Caribbean, the Midwest and eastern Montana. Although Cape Air does not operate the Cessna 404, it does have a large fleet of Cessna 402s. However, the two aircraft are relatively similar.

    Installation

    Simply drag and drop the 'livery-c404-cape-air-n2748y' folder into your MSFS 2024 or MSFS 2020 Community folder.

    I loved this livery for flying the Caribbean and US East Coast on various Cape Air routes, MSFS2024. Was working fine, now, though installed, it no longer appears as a choice in the Titan's livery selection page.

    Please make sure that you selected the Passenger variant. This livery is not compatible with the other variants.

    Did select passenger variant, no luck. Redownloaded livery, will try reinstall. I noticed it appears in My Library in MSFS2024. Copilot said to disable that version. Maybe that's causing problems, I will try to uninstall that one completely.

    Yes, if the livery is disabled in the library it won't work.

    Merry Christmas Tim! Thanks for this livery. I love flying it in the BVI.

    It worked great until SU4, which broke it. I enabled it in My Library, still no luck. And I am definitely selecting the passenger version. Anyone else had this issue?

    I have just downloaded the livery and it works perfectly. So SU4 is not the issue here. Could you please confirm that you downloaded the MSFS 2024 version and not the MSFS 2020 version by accident?

    There were two versions of the 404 in my library. a 2020 unverified version and an older release. I downloaded the older release, now my livery is back!

    I don't own the 404 for MSFS 2020 and don't intend to purchase it. However, if someone were to donate 15 Euros, I would buy it and release the livery for the 2020 version too.

    Can any explain to me the MSFS2020/2024 ownership? Didn't Asobo/MS say that purchases from MSFS2020 are transfered to MSFS2024 as well? That I wont have to pay twice for the same aircraft?

    I had a very fun flight from KBOS to KBHB, but I had to divert up to KBGR due to heavy fog in Bar Harbor! A very fun flight, I'm looking forward to buzzing around the New England area in this livery!
