    Asobo 737 MAX 8 Simbrief Profile - Image 1

    Description

A custom made (mostly) functional Simbrief profile for the Asobo 737 Max 8. Comes in two variants, I recommend having both imported. One is for payload loading through the EFB, the other through the MCDU.

Just a heads up for both the creator of these and any potential users - WorkingTitle (the team that developed the systems for this aircraft) believe the FMC method of controlling weights and balances is leftover from work done in 2020 and should not be used. I've noticed more issues with CG, trim, and others when the FCM method is used - I'd recommend sticking with the EFB option only.

Hi, could you make a tutorial and upload it on YouTube? (how to use the EFB profile)

Will do, I'll try and get it out when I get home in a few hours and probably put it in the description

Can't really make a video honestly but here's a step by step:
    1. Generate flight like how you would any other Simbrief flight, just using the EFB profile
    2. Take the passenger count and multiply at 162.7 lbs or 73.8 kg and select approximately that many passengers in weight in the passenger section under Flight Performances > Weight and Balance
    3. Select approximately the amount of cargo and fuel
    4. Click Load Aircraft
You can then use the values given in the EFB from the info button to get Zero Fuel Weight and fuel on board. Takeoff weight is ground weight minus 200kg by default.

Hi... The links provided here on the site work, and so do the zipped links. Greetings. PS. And how to do it through MCDU because there is no such tutorial anywhere?

Sorry for the late reply - only now noticed the comment.
If you're still interested in that, you go to the MCDU main menu page, select options, and then weight & balance, and load it in through there, though this isn't encouraged because your Center of Gravity will be wrong, at least from what I recall. They may have fixed it

Odd. Both links appear to work for me, though are these from the zip file or the description?
    Also, does Simbrief load normally?
