    Description

    First build of Van's RV7 for MSFS2024 with updated 3D model and flight model. Currently the RV-7 with glass cockpit taildragger is available, there will be more variants also there will be more liveries.

    The new version now supports the TDS GTNXi and is available as a variant https://tdssim.com/
    Important! You must delete the old version (1.0.0 or 1.0.01) of the RV-7; otherwise, the updated version (1.0.1) will not work.
    NOTE: The TDS GTNXi is not working correctly in this build. I will add an alternative package soon.

    You need to replace all instances of [template] and [color] with your values. For example, change [template]-rv7-livery-[color] to author-rv7-livery-dark. Additionally, update the information in manifest.json and livery.cfg.

    Also, the PMS50 GTN is used by far more users than the TDS, so a version for the PMS would be amazing.

    Yesterday d/l this superb plane, but i think the heading is not working, the turn button, maybe there is a solution for it?
    But what a great plane to fly

    Does die PMS50 GTN750 show up in this version already or is it still dark due to the ASOBO display panel bug?

    Flew an RV 4 a number of years ago. Flying this RV 7 reminded me of that time. What a blast to fly. I need to get my controls set for it. But this will be one of my favorite GA planes to fly.

    I have to say I love your work on the RV-7 & RV7A. One of my best friends has an RV-7A but his has the sliding canopy. I'm wondering if you have any plans for the 7A tricycle version?

    You can temporarily avoid LOD issues by forcing LOD to 0 in Development Mode :

    Go to Dev mode > Debug > Debug Model LODs > Enable force active LOD 0 (0 = most detailed) Save settings and exit DEV mode. This has to be done for each session

    open the canopy from the outside ( in the walkaround mode) would be cool and that you can run through the plane (in the walkaround mode) would for me the cherry on the cake!
