    Description

    This add-on is compatible with both MSFS 2020 and 2024. Expect a 20 FPS drop with MSFS 2020 and none with MSFS 2024.

    Ship Traffic for Italian Coastline adds dynamic ships entering and exiting Italian ports until they reach their final destination. The ports where ships have been added are the following:

    -Vado
    -Savona
    -Genoa
    -La Spezia
    -Livorno
    -Piombino
    -Portoferraio
    -Civitavecchia
    -Naples
    -Salerno
    -Gioia Tauro
    -Reggio Calabria
    -Taranto
    -Bari
    -Brindisi
    -Barletta
    -Manfredonia
    -Ancona
    -Ravenna
    -Venice
    -Trieste
    -Messina
    -Catania
    -Palermo
    -Cagliari
    -Olbia
    -Augusta
    -Valletta (Malta)


    This add-on is standalone and does not require the Italian Coastline add-on to function, but it definitely enhances the experience (the photos were taken with both add-ons active).

    I love this mod. Can you make such a mod for ship traffic germany :-) that would be great... the asobo ship traffic is the biggest crap ive ever seen... or not seen ;-)

    ... congratulations on a great job ... having worked for years in the Port of Genoa I would say that the speed of the ships should be slightly reduced ... but I don't know if it is possible so ...

    you are right and it will be fixed, it was done this way for timing reasons, to avoid ship crashing into each other, but yes it bothers me as well 😅

    Why do you use Scripts and not .bgl s as in Global ai ship traffic ?
    Why it is such a Difference between fs 2000 and fs 2004 ?

    Great addon,but a 20 FPS drop in 2020,that alone stopped me from downloading it,which is a pity.

    To be more clear, the 20 FPS drop only occurs in areas with heavier traffic, such as Venice and Genoa. For example, every wake effect from ships causes a 1 frame drop, so the more ships there are, the more frames you lose. However, this doesn’t apply to all PCs. In my case, with a 4090 and a Ryzen 7800, I lose 20 FPS, but it’s from 95 to 75 FPS, which is a more than acceptable compromise. I recommend downloading it and testing it in Venice and Genoa. If the drops make the experience unacceptable, just uninstall it—it’s free for this reason.
