Description
Version 2 of the Derby Airfield scenery improves the hangar buidlings and adds another hangar that shows up on Bing Maps and not Google maps! Trying to find any decent images of EGBD is proving quite tricky so if you fly from EGBD in the real world and can share images with me then that would be greatly appreciated.
Further improvements include
- A selection of aircraft
- Storage containers
- Construction materials
- Foliage
- Runway markers
- On-site buildings
- Control tower
- Picnic tables, parasols and benches
- Parked cars to give it a more lively look and feel.
All of this is based on Bing Maps and Google Maps as I've never actually been to the airfield personally!
Also, kudos to Flying Theston for his excellent set of YouTube tutorials which showed me how to do all of this! Top Man!

Nice job! However, there are more aircraft parked here than there are at a major air show, with the result that a number of the static aircraft are colliding or stuck together. It may be an idea to thin these out a bit.
