    Description

    GSX Pro Profile for ORBX YMML.

    Included in this profile are the International Terminal, Domestic Terminals and Stand-Off Bays (including Cargo).

     

    Installation
    1.       Copy the downloaded file, YMML-AusFS.ini and YMML-AusFS.py, and place in your MSFS GSX directory, located at %AppData%\Virtuali\GSX\MSFS

    2.       Ensure there are no other YMML user-customisation files.

    3.       To exclude some ORBX GSE placement, to allow for GSX vehicles, drop 'zzz-orbx-ymml-exclude' into your community folder.

    4.       Ensure you disable NOOL VDGS in the ORBX configurator.

    5.       Ensure you select 'Reposition here at current gate' every time you load, to ensure you are stopped on the correct line.

    Included is a PDF from Melbourne Airport - Outlining all pushback disconnect points. Use this in conjunction with this profile.

    Accurate ground handling and catering per gate
    Accurate pushback procedures
    VDGS/Accurate stop positions per aircraft type

    Troubleshooting & Known Issues

    Some pushbacks may have the pushback tug finish at a weird angle.

    I have been having some issues with pushbacks reaching the disconnect point then suddenly slewing the plane despite breaks/chocks being on. Happened to me on F24 to Disconnect Y1 Tail East. Also occured for me with D4 to U0. Essentially at the end of Pushback, but before the to truck disconnects, the plane will start slewing in a random direction with no ability to stop it until you abort gsx.

    Unfortunately that's not something a GSX profile can change. It will most likely be a 2024 error.

    GSX has disabled the jetways replacement in 2024. This will be fixed in a future update

    Hi, I just checked with vatsim ATC-GND in YMML. He does not know the disconnect points from the profile: pos.: "H2" - S12_A15_A16. He wants me to push onto J.
    May be, you add add pushback onto J for the parking area, southern freight apron? TY.

    As per the Melbourne airport pushback procedures, H2 and 3 don't have a pushback onto J. Once we have the ability to include the A/B bays we can add that to H2/3 A/B.

    Hi, I dont understand the TDPs- are there any signs on the ground? Where is "S12" located (stand H3)? I found the official document of YMML, but no map.

    The correct ground markings were not created by ORBX, there is a yellow line to represent the position however not shown correctly. The above link will show you all positions.

    To add further context to the map I have posted above, If the Blue box is north of the taxi line, your aircraft will face west, if it is south of the line, you will face East. If the box is to the East of the taxiline, you will face North and if it's West of the line, you will face South.

    I started at gate E6 and there is no jetway and GSX says there is a standard jetway (nothing at all showing). Is this something you can fix?
