    GSX profile for Aerosofts's ENGM Oslo Gardermoen scenery

    Features:

    • Custom separate boarding/deboarding paths to the terminal at all gates with jetways
    • Custom vehicle placement at all gates
    • Custom stop positions based on aircraft type at all gates - based on the offsets from the Aerosoft VDGS file
    • Python file to group the gates together
    • Handling by SAS, Menzies, and Wiederøe
    • Fuelling by Skytanking and Aviation Fuel Services Norway
    • Custom Avinor bus textures used at remote gates
    • Catering by Newrest Scandinavia and GateGourmet
    • Custom airport handler which will automatically choose the ground handler based on the selected airline (based on the Oslo Airport website as of 02.2026)

      and prefer vehicles most similar to those used at the airport irl

    • Custom pushbacks at all gates as per the Avinor documentation
    • Simultaneous jetway and rear stair boarding for smaller aircraft (A32X, B737, A220, E-Jets)
    • ATR gates (small) have the rear baggage cart disabled
    • Option to use either Aerosoft's or GSX's VDGS system
    • Remote de-icing pads
    • Gate 189 has been moved to gate 188 to allow for heavy aircraft to park there
    • Gate 47 is disabled as is the case irl
    • In order to make installation simpler you can use the Drag&Drop Installer by ElevateSolutions

    Always use GSX's "reposition at this gate" feature when starting a flight

    Due to the layout of the airport some vehicles may slightly clip into the buildings when moving around

    It is recommended to enable the option "Auto-select when single operator" in GSX settings for the best experience

    This update broke the good ai handling. Now plane prioritice remote stand and cargoplane use gate with docking bridge at pax terminal amd not park at cargo terminal.

    Can wee plase get the old file back?

    Uhhh, what? A gsx profile doesn’t have anything to do with how ai planes behave or where they park.

    Yes and no.

    Default atc not care about GSX profiles, but if using 3party like Beoynd ATC to inject your ai traffic it read gsx profiles to get the traffic parking corectly.

    Could you point me to a source about this? Because the BeyondATC site doesn't mention anything about reading GSX profiles for the traffic injection so I wouldn't even know where to begin looking at this. The only things I can think of are parking categories which were never changed and airline codes which were removed from the profile like 2 years ago. Apart from that there haven't been any updates to the main .ini file except for adding simultaneous boarding, all other changes were in the new handler. And no, I won't be uploading older versions of the profile

    Tested VDGS on Vatsim, info changed from Simbrief to Vatsim, but neither runway, SID or TOBT got modified when the controller changed this for my flight :(

    I'll take a look. It's not my implementation + I don't use vatsim so I'll be honest I haven't really tested it, just implemented the same thing that the ORBX Oslo profile has

    Hi, I noticed that on the MAX for Norwegian it only uses the front door for boarding. I am told they use both front and rear door for boarding. Any possibility of getting that updated at all? Thanks

    That's already implemented, all gates have simultaneous jetway + stairs boarding set up and the 737 is one of the aircraft that's used for (see the 4th screenshot for an example). If that doesn't happen for you at all then I'll need more info, ideally a log file so I can have a look what the issue is

    A log please, otherwise it's just a guessing game. It's possible that GSX isn't detecting the aircraft id correctly since that's what's used to turn it on and off but I just tried it myself with the latest iFly MAX update in a Norwegian livery and it worked as intended

    Any chance to remove the Norwegian handling? They don't have any handling on the ramp at Oslo, it's all inside the terminal (Menzies handles Norwegian on airside)

    Oh good to know, on the airport website the handler is listed as norwegian, I'll change this in the next update to Menzies

    Are you sure you're using the correct scenery? I just loaded into gate 41 in the aerosoft scenery and it's fully configured in the profile

    is the positioning wrong, it positions me to the side of the line and door wont line up with jetway when using warp or reposition at gate

    This can be due to a number of things. Are you using the correct scenery? There are three Oslo sceneries by different developers. Do you have the python files installed as well as the ini file? All three need to be installed for the profile to work. If yes, is the profile fully recognized by gsx? Also which gate does this happen at and with what plane? Something like the CSS 737 for example may not work correctly since it’s not fully supported by gsx yet

    That’s the scenery’s issue, I can’t configure a gate in the profile if it doesn’t exist in the scenery
