Palma de Mallorca city and surrounding areas based on Google Maps photogrammetry.
Installation
This scenery has two versions, you have to choose one:
- Full (High Detail): Download full version files (two files, scenery + textures) and unzip both on same folder (use "Extract here" on 7-zip). Second zip has the textures, so if you don't do this right the scenery will look pink or white.
- Lite (Low Detail): Download main file and unzip on community folder
Lite version has less detail so it takes less disk space. It is suitable for less powerful machines. It's also useful if you are not planning to fly at less than 1500-2000ft over the city, you won't notice much difference with the full version.
Known Issues
- The area around Miravent palace doesn't have photogrammetry in Google Maps. Anyways, it looks way better than MSFS default.

Playa de Muro / Mallorca now also has photogrammetry... why don't you give it a shot? :D

I think this is not being worked on anymore, and I appreciate the time invested in this, but all the photogrammetry has a really ugly brown-greyish tone to it. In the harbor it conflicts with all payware scenery I've tried. Can't give this a higher rating right now.

Hi Ezro.
I'm experiencing a problem with this addition.
You have done a lot of work to add Palma de Mallorca to FS2020 so beautifully. Thank you very much for that.
I first downloaded the full version and installed it in the Community folder as indicated. Its content occupies 6,54 GB whitch is a lot. The addition often gives black areas in the scenery when flying over Palma. The black areas appear all over the city. They only last a split second, but there are so many that the real flying experience is disturbed. I filmed it and put a few screenshots in the user gallery on this page.
After this experience I replaced the full version in the Community map with the lite version (1,37GB content) and restarted the sim but the black areas keep coming. I've also tried to make it better by lowering the graphical options in the options menus etc. but it doesn't get any better. It's a shame because Palma is now very realistic but is spoiled by the big black spots.
Perhaps the addition is not suitable for FS2020 update VIII or there is something else causing conflicts. By the way, I have previously removed all other files from the Community folder. Furthermore, I have never seen these black areas in the scenery of FS2020.

I have the same issue. I see the black flickering in some areas, and the game lags way more than before. It used to work fine on my computer, but some recent update must have broken it.
