    Description

    I created this mod to slightly improve the already amazing job Fenix did with v2!

    Here is what I did:
    - Fixed the square and pixealated beacon lights.
    - Brightened ground splash for the nav and strobe lights.
    - Increased light intensity of the nav, beacon, strobes.
    - Increased light orb size of the nav, beacon, strobes to be more visible.
    - Adjusted strobe light timing.
    - Adjusted bottom beacon light rotation to be seen at any viewing angle.
    - Nav, beacon, strobes will be visible when zoomed out.
    - Both engine variants on all models are included.
    - Sharklets included.
    - Sharklet Strobe light flash rate and color temp.

     

    Turn Bloom ON in sim for best results!


    Installation:
    Extract the folder and chose if you want 2020 or 2024.
    Simply drag and drop into your community folder!



    BEWARE!
    Whenever the core aircraft gets an update this mod MIGHT break your aircraft! If core files get updated I will need to make the necessary changes in my mod for it to be compatible so PLEASE do not reach out to support devs and ask why your airplane is broken, remove the mod first and try again. I typically have updates out quickly. Thanks for your support!

    MSFS 2024 currently has a bug with lights during the day time where they are NOT visible. My mod does NOT fix that. Microsoft/Asobo need to release a fix before I can do anything about it. For now, the mod works perfectly in low light/ night time.

    But when entering the clouds, the landing lights don't illuminate. I don't know if this mod works with the latest version of Fenix ​​2.4.0.4720 ?

    Yes it works with the latest version. The landing lights are volumetric

    Is there a way to make the top LED in the sharklets do the double flash so that we can see it from the wing views. Just now you can only see the top LED flash as the bottom one doesn't illuminate the "glass".

    Sim limitation for the light to bounce of the glass, but you should see the double flash in the Sharklets, I did a bit of trickery to simulate the double flash. Move up a couple rows if you can't see it

    I can see the double flash in the wing views behind the engine at night time. Can't see the double flash during the day and I can only see the top LED do 1 flash as the bottom one is blocked by some sort of metal?

    IIRC the MSFS2020 version of this mod, you could see the double flash from any angle in wing views

    Does this mod allow these lights to also illuminate the clouds when they enter them, or for the strobe lights to create a flashing effect inside the clouds?

    Thanks for the mod! I noticed in MSFS 2024 the beacon and strobes are so dim. can barely see it until you zoom in. Also at night have these random red and green strobes randomly pop up at random times in the cockpit.

    Dont know how to discribe it :S but it feels like it flashing to bright, brightlight it self is very good but when you fly at night you will see if u sitting wingview that strobe is to strong and lighting up things around the aircraft :S

    I'll be completely honest with you, I will not be using 2020 anymore for the foreseeable future. 2024 has became amazing and is the future of simming. All my mods moving forward will be 2024 Only. So sorry!
