    Description

    This is first and foremost a performance MOD for SimDocks' extraordinarily beautiful, but very frame rate heavy EDHI Hamburg Finkenwerder Airbus Factory scenery. While the exact recreation of buildings and the extortionate amount of detail of the original scenery is beaufiful to behold, on my system fps tended to tank to atrocious levels when flying into, or taxiing on the airport.
    In my MOD, I have exluded many of the plethora of small objects, while keeping all buildings - and some 'life'. With this MOD I now get frame rates similar to the latest iteration of the EGKK Gatwick freeware scenery

    Secondly, I have added the recently finished new A321 NEO Completion Center (Hall 210), including the associated apron. As available satellite imagery is either still from the construction phase (GE Pro), or not available in photogrammetry/3D (Bing), I have taken some liberties. But all-in-all it should be a faithful representation of the new building. As a Hamburg resident, I might take a factory tour in the near future, in order to take some photos and correct my mistakes :)

    This MOD might work stand-alone, but doesn't really make much sense without the SimDocks EDHI scenery

    INSTALLATION
    Download and unzip the file to a location of choice. Copy the "zzz-edhi-simdocks-mod" folder into your Community folder

    Good FPS, except on A380 delivery (Parking 247 -248). When looking right the FPS drops to 10 FPS.

    Kriegt man die Simdocks szenerie noch woanders? Die Simdocks Foren sind eine Datenkrake und erheben mMn völlig unnötig Klarname und Anschrift bei der Registrierung (DSGVO und DSG sind hoch am Jubeln) und ehrlich gesagt, sehe ich nicht ein, denen meine Daten zu geben, wenn man bedenkt, dass die es nichtmal hinbekommen haben, eine vernünftige Datenschutzerklärung aufzusetzen.

    Wieso "Datenkrake"?
    Du gibst Deine Daten bei jedem x-beliebigen shop ein, bei FB, Instagram und was weiß ich noch wo. Und nur weil eine Szenerie nichts kostet ist die entsprechende Webseite gleich ein Datenkrake weil sie die gleichen Daten verlangt?

    this was a great idea, I experienced the same FPS drops as well while flying from or to EDHI.
    As it is a great scenery and the only one for this important AIRBUS facility where most of
    the A320 are assembled, and no commercial programer seems to be working on it, I was
    also thinking about a lite-scenery and proposed it to Manfred.
    Finally, with the upgrade of my PC, the performance increased drastically with
    strong GPU and DLSS on...
    I downloaded this mod anyway and found it quite complete with no objects missing.
    Thanks for this good job!
    Finally I can perform my A320 test flights from EDHI with very smooth framerate...

    Moin, ich hab mit Blick auf die Scenery ein schwarzes Flackern über den gesamten Bildschirm, wenn ich nah dran bin. Wisst ihr da was drüber?

    Seltsam. Ist bei mir nicht der Fall. Hast Du eventuell andere Szenerien - als die von SimDocks und meinen Mod - für EDHI installiert? Z.B. die Photogrammetrie Szenerie. Klingt ein bißchen nach Prioritätsproblemen, wobei sich mein Mod eigentlich als letztes über das Ganze legen sollte...

    Ich finds total eigenartig. Bei eurem Hamburger Hafen Addon auch, da konnte ich es auf die Umgebung Cap San Diego einkreisen. Man findet dazu aber auch nichts im Netz. In Valencia habe ich das selbe ohne Addons. Ganz komisches Phänomen

    "...eurem Hamburger Hafen Addon..." Ermm... Nur um das kurz klar zu stellen: Ich habe absolut nichts mit SimDocks zu tun. Ich Hab nur diesen MOD für seine Szenerie gebastelt...
    Und das Hafen Addon habe ich tatsächlich wieder deinstalliert, weil auch das bei mir grosse FPS Einbrüche verursacht hat.

    Das selbe Problem hatte ich bei der SimDocks-Hafenszenerie. Das Problem ließ sich "beheben", indem man "Bloom" deaktiviert. Mich hat das irgendwie genervt - daher nutze ich die Hafenszenerie nicht mehr.

    Absolutely great! With fps of 1 upt to 2 before when using the Finkenwerder-scenery I now get at least 20 fps again - and SimDocks Finkenwerder is too beautyful as to not use it...

    Moin, while Simdocks Finkenwerder runs quite decent with DX11, it's unplayable with DX12. Something causes the exceeding of my 12GB VRAM and then the FPS are tanking down to a slide show.

    Moinmoin.. yeah, for me it was already that way with DX11. I had tried many things - changing graphics settings etc. - but to no avail. Last thing for me was landing the INI A300 at EDHI (on VATSIM) and my frames tanking down to 4fps. As I really wanted to use the scenery, I decided to make this little mod. Maybe it can help others, too.
