*Please note helo pilots, I believe there is a landing site also using the code EG39. Sorry I started this project before helos were in the sim, sorry I am not changing this.

With the upcoming release of the Television Series “Masters of the Air” I have redone this airfield to recreate the entire base, as best as I can adding buildings that I have been able to match as closely as I possibly can to the closest location with a full map of the entire base when it was fully operational . Masters of the Air is an upcoming American war drama streaming television miniseries. It follows the actions of the 100th Bomb Group of the United States Army Air Forces during World War II, a unit nicknamed the “Bloody Hundredth” due to the heavy losses it incurred in combat missions.

One man in behind the scene who was a driving force to get this up and running, his dad flew out of this base, He has a Twitch Stream and would love for anyone to join his stream and show you around the base and provide you with so much more information that I could provide you.
