    Description

    The Great Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza; the jewel in the crown of Egypt's historic treasures. The MSFS default models are great (IMHO) but when the sun sets they are severely underwhelming without lighting (like the janitor went home and switched off all the lights!). I have tried to recapture some of the majesty and mystery of these wonderful monuments with my own lighting arrangement, mirroring the real night-lighting at the site as best I can recall (one of my earliest memories of flying was looking down upon the Pyramids at night on a flight into Cairo International Airport). I hope you enjoy this simple scenery enhancement!  

    INSTALLATION: Just unzip the archive and move the uncompressed folder to your MSFS community folder. Delete to uninstall. :-)

    Version 1.0 NOTES:

    This scenery contains:
    - light arrangements using carefully-placed MSFS default light-source sim-objects... that's all!

    Does this mod only adjust the light during night flights? If flying in the middle of the day, should I use this mod?

    Yes, these lighting effects only appear at night. The SDK light source sim objects only appear when the daylight level is below a certain threshold. I used these light sources to make the scenery enhancement.

    Thank for these great effects. They look wonderfull! Any chance for updating the Abusir and Sakkara historical sites?

    Really glad you like it. At the moment I was going to work my way through the Cairo mosques but I'll keep those sites in mind and see what I can do in Blender...
