Description
Kansas City International Airportis a public airport in Kansas City, Missouri, located 15 miles (24 km) northwest of Downtown Kansas City in Platte County, Missouri. The airport was opened in 1972 and a new complex in the airport was completed in 2023, replacing the old one. MCI replaced Kansas City Municipal Airport (MKC) in 1972, with all scheduled passenger airline flights moved from MKC to MCI. It serves the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and is the primary passenger airport for much of western Missouri and eastern Kansas.
The airport covers 10,680 acres and has three runways. The airport has always been a civilian airport and has never been assigned an Air National Guard unit. Since the 2020 pandemic shutdown, the number of peak-day scheduled aircraft departures has been steadily recovering. As of October 2022, there were 303 daily arrivals and departures. Nonstop service was offered to 47 airports, including Cancun and Toronto.

This is a complete overhaul of MCI including new terminal and parking garage. All gates have been aligned based on latest Bing and Apple Satellite imagery. This includes custom ground markings and all hand placed taxiway signs. All taxiways should now be correctly named and placed. Parking is also per the airport website. If you see something off, please let me know. There will be more updates to this airport updating some of the buildings across the airport. . Enjoy!

Airport Parking
I am going through airports and updating the parking so airlines park in the correct spots. Not everything is 100% accurate, but it is very close and the pack will continue to grow. Both airlines and cargo spots are being updated. Airports are also including A380 gates.

If all you want is what is descibed in the last paragraph, this is fine, but sadly the model somehow almost looks worse than the autogen airports. The taxiways are also incorrectly labelled and the radio frequencies as well.
