    Description

    Enhanced cockpit  texture and digits for this wonderful mod that Black Square created.This "mod of the mod" has been designed to add small details to gauges, placards and instruments.You'll find hereafter non exhaustiv modifications made:

    -All cockpit placards redesigned with real life fonts used by manufacturer to label buttons and warnings.

    -Custom font for EFS40/50 ADI/HSI.

    -KI-525 redrawn with real life instrument textures.

    -KI-229 compass redrawn with real life instrument textures.Yellow/ Green Needles colors corrected (were inverted in the original instrument)

    -KI206 compass redrawn with real life instrument textures.

    -Bendix-King and Garmin suite redesigned with correct fonts and logos.

    -Bendix-KIng font corrected for Number "7" digit which has in real life 3 segments iso 4.

    -Red /orangish background added to all Bendix/KIng suite.

    -Glowing effects and font redesigned for several alarm and advisory panels.

    To make sure that this mod has no impact on performance, textures size haven't been increased.I made my best to use pixels available in the original product so you shouldn't see any performance degradation when using it.

     

    To install simply extract zip file in your "Community" folder.

    Limitation known:

    Classic Bendix-King Radios: Background is still a little bit misaligned with fonts applied.Will be corrected in a near future !

    ATTENTION: I can only warn against continuing to use this “Enhanced Cockpit Mod”. Since the developer has not updated his mod, it loads some old JavaScript (js) files. This leads to malfunctions in several gauges and radios. It overwrites new files of the updated TBM version 1.2 with old files from this mod. And this prevents users from fully enjoying all the bug fixes in the new TBM version.

    Sorry about the problems you encountered with the use of my mod with latest TBM850 build.I'm actually pretty occupied with real aircrafts and didn't found the time to update my mod.It would have been fair to send me a PM rather than bashing my freeware work on a public space.So from now consider this mod as discontinued.I will update it when i have time for my personal use.BRGDS & Fly safe!

    BTW, I don't use your mod. I just came across various forums that there are problems with your mod and the new TBM850 version 1.2. I then took a closer look at your mod and noticed that you are overwriting some of the new TBM files with old files. This is unacceptable. This has been pointed out in two comments before mine for some time, but you have not responded. If you don't have time for an update, you can email your subscribers and make a big note in your description that your mod is not compatible with TBM850 v1.2. That won't take any longer than your reply to my comment. After that, I will of course delete my warning again.

    Not working with v0.1.2 of the TBM 850: high chances of CTD in loading screens + a bug where the rear door refuses to lock and/or unlocks randomly during flight giving constant master warnings

    Can you update your mod with the latest release please ?
    On my side it cause a CTD with this version 1.02 and the BS version 0.1.2

    If you know how to make the yoke so you can "grab" it with VR controllers that would be a great thing to work on with all the 3rd party planes because all the devs are leaving it out even though all the default planes work this way.

    Thank you very much for this beautiful mod. Could you also fix another issue please?
    The oil temperature scale seems to have 5 increments for every 40 degrees. In the real aircraft there are 4 increments for every 40 degrees, which makes sence; 1 increment = 10 degrees.

    Really nice mod and excellent attention to detail! Cant' help but be distracted a bit by the text on the CDI and PROC buttons on the GNS530 being a bit off, any chance this will make the upcoming update as well?

    Yes it will come but pretty occupied actually to make real aircrafts flying and waiting patiently of next BKS TBM update so as to check if not other modifications are not necessary. ;-)
