Enhanced cockpit texture and digits for this wonderful mod that Black Square created.This "mod of the mod" has been designed to add small details to gauges, placards and instruments.You'll find hereafter non exhaustiv modifications made:
-All cockpit placards redesigned with real life fonts used by manufacturer to label buttons and warnings.
-Beechcraft logo added to some instruments.
-KI-525 redrawn with real life instrument textures.
-KI-229 compass redrawn with real life instrument textures.Yellow/ Green Needles colors corrected (were inverted in the original instrument)
-KI206 compass redrawn with real life instrument textures.
-KRA-10 redrawn with real life instrument textures.
-Bendix-King and Garmin suite redesigned with correct fonts and logos.
-Bendix-Kingdigits reshaped to give them a less flat appearance.
-Bendix-KIng font corrected for Number "7" digit which has in real life 3 segments iso 4.
-Red /orangish background added to all Bendix/KIng suite.
To make sure that this mod has no impact on performance, textures size haven't been increased.I made my best to use pixels available in the original product so you shouldn't see any performance degradation when using it.
To install simply extract "BKB58MODENH " folder in your "Community" folder.
Limitation known:
"L" and "R" labels used for additional tanks version don't appear correctly due to a limitation in the original texture mapping.HSI compass card has been reduced in size to accomodate actual mapping of the instrument.(I will negociate with Nick so that he makes me a little place in the texture file to write my two missing letters ;-) )

Hi, both can be used.My mod come as an overlay above background textures so you shouldn't see any confict.

I tried Both your mod and the Dark Panel mod I had already and noticed that they did not "conflict" exactly, but that this mod overrides the Dark Panel mod. So now my instrument panel is the default color again. It's not a big deal... and I love the attention to detail in this Mod. Great Job! and thanks for providing this.

What a chance we have to have someone like you to enhance the production of those excellent Black Square products. I had never noticed those tiny details before, but having accurate branding is highly appreciated in those high level aircrafts.

Many thanks for your kind words and support.I didn't expect so much! All the compliments must go Nick, the developper of this wonderful mod.He has made a tremendous job! A just a very very small painter .I just enlighten with small touches the chef d'oeuvre he has done.Note also that i have begun to enhance the King AIr in the same way...see in the user gallery for a small preview....;-)

Mr. Gard - pleasure seeing you here. I basically don't log onto FB much anymore but I think you messaged something hehe. I did complete a Baron paint (N902DR) and it was quite a bear - I don't know if I have the willpower to do another.

I did a few repaints for FSX I posted on AVSIM many years ago. Tackling the alpha channels and making it reflect just right was challenging and rewarding. I find the DXT program I used to use will only open some dds files and they frequently do not show when I attempt to put them back into the sim. What programs are you using to extract the dds files and I am assuming they still use an alpha channel? That 2000th Baron is quite an impressive paint job.

Thank you for this beautiful mod. I do have a small remark regarding the placard on the left side referencing to the strobe light. Here the word "off" is missing: It should read "Turn strobe lights off when ...". There also should be s space in front of the word "Standard".
The same applies to the placard in de modifed Bonanza.

Fantastic work to bring even more realism to the Black Square Analog Baron, which is presently my favorite aircraft to sim with. It took even more work than the Bonanza but I did get Crispy's Jaguar exterior repaint, Raller's Jaguar interior with name changes of specific files to "Baron"... AND this mod to all work together and I REALLY LOVE THE RESULTS! Thank you.
