    B21 Better Nameplates - Image 1

    Description

    B21 Better Nameplates 1.1.1.

This mod has been used in the soaring community for quite a while, I've just got around to posting it up to flightsim.to.

    * More compact nameplates, works out-of-the-box if you don't want to customize it but the mod also makes adjustments relatively easy.

    * A README and an 'easy' header in the CSS file which you can edit with Notepad to change colors etc.

    * The ability to tailor namplate style to TYPE OF AIRCRAFT and PLAYER NAME, via a settings file which you can edit with Notepad.

    * By default glider aircraft types are listed for a special highlight - in the images attached I've changed that to include the B748 - those were easier to find at Heathrow...

    Updates:

1.1.1 This nameplates mod now additionally uses an online source for MSFS glider types (https://xp-soaring.github.io/tasks/b21_task_planner/js/lib/b21_gliders.js). This doesn't alter any of the existing functionality to define your own types/usernames you'd like styled a particular way. Or... as I'm guessing the vast majority of users are doing simply use the mod as-is and it'll display MUCH  more compact nameplates than the default...

1.1.1 can (optionally, on by default) use an online web page listing the MSFS glider type names so that can be more easily updated. All the existing functionality for you to highlight your own types/players is still available.
