Black Square TBM 850 Annunciator Panel Improvement Mod - Image 1

    Description

The way too thick and way too bright frame lines on the annunciator panel of the awesome BKSQ TBM850 bothered me from the first sight so that I improved it and want to share it with you as a mod.

Inevitably, I also had to redraw the white lines on the overhead panel because the textures are related and I corrected them right away, as they consist of rectangles with rounded corners.

The mod will be seen in all standard liveries of the BKSQ TBM850 and also in many downloaded repaints.

It is possible that other TBM850 cockpit mods using the same textures will be overwritten when loading, but this will be rare and nothing bad can happen!

    Enjoy it...

Can you update your mod with the latest release please ?
On my side it cause a CTD with this version 1.2 and the BS version 0.1.2
    Thanks !

This small mod does not require an update for the BKSQ TBM850 v1.2. There were no changes to these textures. And that this mod causes CTDs is impossible, because only texture files are changed.

As you state in your installation instructions this mod will be seen in all standard liveries. Fine...
I am trying to use it with https://flightsim.to/file/63707/black-square-tbm-850-n755zr-with-custom-interior-dynamic-registration, the annunciator panel and overhead panel remain grayed out.
    Why is this?
    Thanks.

Because TimHH modifies the same file in his repaint as I do in my mod. That's why you don't see the white lines in the overhead panel. Leave everything as it is, but take the file "ANALOGTBM_PANELCENTER_ALBD.PNG.DDS" from my mod and copy it into TimHH's repaint (overwrite). Then it will work!

That did the trick. I also copied your (13) textures to Black Square TBM 850 Enhanced Cockpit https://flightsim.to/file/62477/black-square-tbm-850-enhanced-cockpit. Both mods are now working fine.

    Thank you.

Thank you very much for this beautiful mod. Could you also fix another issue please?
The oil temperature scale seems to have 5 increments for every 40 degrees. In the real aircraft there are 4 increments for every 40 degrees, which makes sence; 1 increment = 10 degrees.

Hello, thanks for the hint, very well spotted. I don't want to change this mod anymore, because it should only adjust the frame lines on the annunciator panel. But I have included the correction of the "Eng Oil Temp Scale" in my repaint of the N851TB. Since I have now made a lot of small improvements to the dashboard and instruments, I may create a separate mod with all these changes. Happy new year.

Thank you so much! Keep up the good work!

Only Mod I'm using for this plane. Why they (BlackSquare) decided to make these borders chrome or whatever, I'll never know. It ruins an otherwise excellent panel.

    Thanks for this!

    I totally agree with you.

It is compatible because JayDee only edits entries in the various xxx.flt files and my mod only changes textures.
