    Description

    This addon provides scripts to control the Black Square TBM 850 (payware). You need the software Axis And Ohs (payware) to execute them. If you don't use AAO you can nevertheless download this package and peek into. It will provide information for other programs like spad.next, MobiFlight, ... on how to control the airplane.

    This is no typical addon to be installed into the community folder. You need the software Axis And Ohs to import theses scripts and to map them to whatever hardware you are using. Unpack the archive file and use Axis And Ohs "Scripting | Import Scripts" to import these files. Your scripts will have a new group BKSQTbm850 containing all scripts.

    Because the Garmin GTX 327 Transponder is used in more than one airplane these scripts are to be found in the script group GTX327. These script can be used for all airplanes providing a GTX-327 transponder.

    There are no B-variables anymore in the scripts. When possible IEs (Input Events) are used. No need to start AAO with admin rights or have the FIP panel to be active.

    If some levers or buttons are missing, just leave a comment. The screenshots will give hints on which element is controlled using which scripts.

    TOGA doesnt work

    Any ideas on how to get the condition lever to work as an axis?

    Hello. Am I saying right that the “Scripts-bksq-tbm850-1.9” and the tbm 850 update 1.2 don't work completely together (HDG, NAV etc.) or is it more a problem on my side?

    Wow, thank you so much! This just saved me hours you clearly have invested. Everything is logically structured and easy to set up. The Dukes are addressable out of the box, but the TBM was difficult for me to set up before I found your scripts. Very much appreciated!!!

    I just checked some switches. Everything is working as expected. Be sure to have the latest version of the BlackSquare TBM850 installed. Some switches might be only set when AAO is started with admin rights and the in-game AAO FIP-Panel is active.

    Hello, I'm totally new to using external mapping apps. I've been looking for some time for solutions to get a button to act as "throttle gate". On the TBM from flight range to beta range, and from beta range to reverser range, you have to lift a moving part of the throttle so you don't accidentally set reverse thrust during flight. Is it somethin that can be done with one of those programs ?

    Yes, there is a variable to read and control the state of this small lever on the throttle. I've added this to scripts as 'throttleinteraction_...'.
    When using the mouse to control the throttle, this variable will be changed automatically. When using something like AAO to control the throttle you'll now be able to control it on your own.

    I downloaded and imported the scripts but, newbie for AAO, I don't know how to assign them to my warthog throttle and joystick. What should I do ?

    I am looking for the ToGa button since the default one is not working.

    I've added the script TOGA_push to version 1.7. This is what the TOGA button is sending to the sim. Nothing else than the default event. Hope that helps.

    Anyone know how to assign a yoke button to the CWS button ?

    The command I can see... but how do I assign it to a button ?

    It needs holding in, obvs, until you adjust pitch, and releasing.

    I added three scripts for the CWS button to the collection: yoke_btn_cws_push, yoke_btn_cws_releas and yoke_btn_cws_push_and_release.

    You can assign the first and second script to your button press and button release action. Using AAO, spad.next, whatever you do have.

    All usage of B-variables was replaced by Input Events. No need to have AAO run with admin rights or the FIP panel being active. For the GTX327 Transponder all scripts were changed from using H-variables to IEs too. Using the new scripts you will hear the button press sound. The missing buttons 8 and 9 were added. If you ask why they are presen, when a transponder code consists of digits 0 to 7: You can program a count down on the GTX327 which will need theses digits too ;-)
