I lost the files for for this mod, so I can not change it. If there is enough demand I could make an extra dependency to fix Taxiway Q, but this will be a seperate mod. Please leave a comment if interested.
This scenery only applies extra lighting to the buildings of Schiphol Airport.
I was a little dissapointed in myself that I didn't buy the Premium version of the game that includes a hand-crafter version of the airport. Sadly there are no third-party airports for Schiphol yet, so I need to ease the pain a little bit for myself.
To make arriving to the gate a little easier and less dark I decided to place some lights around the airport. These are divided in 2 categories:
Pier lighting:
Due to a lack of assets in the game for lighting on buildings there is 1 big mast at each gate. These are all placed related to the heading of the gate.
Apron lighting:
All apron lighting is placed based on GPS coördinates. I used all the correct masts as far as I could identify on the aerial photography
Please note:
The scenery was made with the Standard version of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. It is possible that lights are not correctly placed in the Deluxe and Premium versions of the game, as they are hand-crafted by Asobo
EHAM Schiphol Apron lighting
Enhance the nighttime experience at EHAM Schiphol Airport with this mod that adds extra lighting to the buildings. Pier lighting features a big mast at each gate, while apron lighting is based on GPS coordinates for accuracy. * Shrunk the lights on the piers by 40% to match the size of a building lamp. They were out of proportion * Lit up the well known Schiphol tower, this was missing * Added a little easter egg area, see if you can spot the difference at pier H. Submut a picture when you find it :)

Unfortunately I have to confirm that this mod completely ruins taxiway Q at EHAM. Would be awesome if that could be fixed, as the airport is now covered in darkness again...

Great mod, but unfortunately this mod makes taxiway Q very bumpy (especially the part where it crosses the highway). Without the mod the taxiway is as it should be.

It is all made with vanilla stuff, so yea it should still be working. I have not verified it though.

I do have some changes I want to make to this scenery to make it look a little more like the lights are mounted against the building. But that will be in my own pace.

Tonight I did a short flight from EBBR to EHAM and was very suprised the standard Schiphol looked that great. Because of your work we all can enjoy an awesome Amsterdam Airport, Thanks!
