    Description

    This is an upload for updating parking spots across MSFS. All original files created by Asobo with only edits being parking spots and adding jetways where needed. Package includes several airports I fly regularly and will continue to work on more as I have time. If there are any requests, please comment on Flightsim.to and I will do my best to get back to you. This package works best with AIG or FSLTL, though I have found that any live traffic I see usually parks in the correct gates. 

    Parking spots are updated per airport websites, satellite images, and FlightRadar24. Not all spots have been filled in due to lack of information, but all terminal info should be up to date. These are near real life with gate numbers matching most spots. I have tested this and haven't see any impacts to performance and have tried to catch all the little errors, but if you see any additional, don't hesistate to reach out so I can fix it. Keep in mind that there are still some ongoing issues I am working on regarding jetways and connectors. Seems that several airports either have bad connectors, no connectors, or they are not long enough to connect to aircraft. This mod works best with AIG or FSLTL. Both have been tested thoroughly and are vastly improved over the default traffic.  

    To install, simply extract the entire AFCAD folder into your community folder. For those airports you may have payware for and do not want that airport included, simply delete the airport and drag the layout.json file onto the MSFSgenerator to update it. Files will work with Premium Deluxe version. 

    ***Please ensure you do not have any other add-ons that do airport lighting as this will conflict with my scenery.***

    Hello all, just wanted to give an update on the project. I have since removed 2020 from my PC as I only use 2024 now. That said, this project will no longer be being updated regularly; however, I will be using the project files from this to update airports in 2024. I can't say when the first update will be out, but I am working on some stuff for 2024. I have enjoyed this project and the community support and look forward to seeing you in FS2024.

    I am trying to go through and ensure this works, but the issue is that any adjustments I make will completely overwrite what is in the sim, which has caused some conflicts. 24 has yet to open up the default airport files to edit. I have had mixed reports about things working in 2024, but so far, I haven't officially confirmed the use in 24 because of the inconsistency. I'm hoping that one day we will get access to those files or the world hub to make adjustments.

    Why does 2024 need it? You would think the "Perfect Sim" fixed this issue already.

    For some reason this breaks the elevation off of KSEA's 16 runways, so that the landing lights are way higher than they should be and cut into the glideslope.

    I have seen that issue pop up off and on with my update. I will go back and see if I can fix it, but it had been a terraforming issue. Thanks for letting me know it is back.

    Great work, thank you for sharing it!

    It looks like KDFW has an issue: on the northeast side where FedEx is located it looks like the buildings are duplicated and offset.

    Yes, these are meant to enhance the default airports, including premium asobo airports.

    Airport Parking

    I am going through airports and updating the parking so airlines park in the correct spots. Not everything is 100% accurate, but it is very close and the pack will continue to grow. Both airlines and cargo spots are being updated. Airports are also including A380 gates.
