Description
EPKP - Kraków-Pobiednik Wielki
Airfield
This is a scenery of small general aviation airfield in south of Poland, just outside of Kraków.
Founded in 1938 as military airfield, since 1952 it is a civil airfield and home for Aeroklub Krakowski.
It has 2 grass runways:
- 09R/27L (1100x50m, DS1 - Main runway). This runway has night lights and it's used for most of operations on airfield.
- 09L/27R (980x120m, DS2 - Secondary runway).
Two windsocks are available. One is located on the roof of main hangar, second one is located near the taxiway/main runway intersection, in the middle of airfield area.
Scenery
Most of buildings are custom made, including Moya petrol station just behind fences of the airfield.
Some of objects are from Asobo default libraries to enhance scenery depth and immersion.
Grass is as short as it can be with current grass system in MSFS. Taxiways are clearly visible due to difference in color.
Aerial images are replaced with newer ones (Source: Bing Maps) - more accurate and better quality. New aerial images are replacing only images in airfield area.
Some parts of scenery aren't perfectly accurate due to lack of detalied pictures or data. I hope to visit this airfield soon and correct those things in update.
Installation
Simply unzip downloaded archive and move files into your community folder. No additional assets are needed.
