Wurtzbourg ou Würzburg (orthographe allemande, courante également en français, prononcé en allemand : /ˈvʏɐ̯tsbʊɐ̯k/) est une ville en Bavière, un land d'Allemagne. La ville est la capitale du district de Basse-Franconie et le chef-lieu de l'arrondissement de Wurtzbourg. Wurtzbourg est également le centre économique, universitaire et culturel de la région de « Franconie du Main » et du Vignoble de Franconie. Aujourd'hui, la ville compte environ 130 000 habitants. Wurtzbourg est située sur le Main et est le point de départ septentrional de la Route romantique. La résidence de Wurtzbourg est classée depuis 1981 sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco.
En 1973, elle est lauréate du prix de l'Europe.
