Description
Sluice Creek - O68 , nestled between mountains next to the snake river on the border of Idaho and Oregon, this is a small bush trip with a cabin and a few eye candy... added my own fictional touch as i couldnt find any visual references. Hope you enjoy as much as I did creating it.
PS: have a look ath flowers at the windsock...you might just find some butterflies floating around...
Disclaimer:
I did not create these models, and a big thank you to the 3D artists that made these models available for us to use for free! you will find a .txt (required libraries) file with all the links to them on flightsim.to, if you have downloaded some of my previous sceneries, you should be ok, but just double check.
Installation:
Just unzip into your community folder, or if you use addons linker just link it from wherever you have installed your scenery.
To have MSFS 2020 Premium will be advantageous, I have premium, but there is no way for me to distinguish what models are only available in the standard version,
but I try my best to accomodate for those that dont have MSFS 2020 Premium.
Very Important: You need to have the following libraries for the sceneries to display correctly see included .txt (required libraries) file , I know its alot and a big schlep, but believe me it will be worth it, be sure to check back on them for updates.
Emerald Object Library - https://flightsim.to/file/8824/emerald-object-library
Bush & Backcountry Library - https://flightsim.to/file/43061/bush-backcountry-library
Windy Things - https://flightsim.to/file/14024/windy-things

Wow! You do really great stuff. Thanks! Special request: Memaloose Airstrip right above Sluice Creek on the Oregon side of Hells Canyon. I believe it's the highest elevation recognized airstrip in Oregon. And added special request: could you throw in the lookout tower nearby at Hat Point? I worked for the USFS Helitack crew there in the 70's. And manned the lookout station when I wasn't flying around snuffing fires. Many fond memories of that area. Thanks again!

Excellent Bush scenery, I made a video, to highlight, you great attention to detail, and fine scenery craftsmanship, the only thing, I did not see the butterflies, and I have all of the libraries installed. Keep up the great work, Thanks,,,https://youtu.be/4LvUoNP41rM

yeah you need to be very close to the windsock in drone camera, to really be able to see them, if you have all the libraries, they should be there

Awesome site. I have your AvAngel Camp and I think it might be a tad more comprehensive. This one is very challenging. I took the 'Boo into it and it was a handful. (Reversers ten feet off the ground.) I found your butterflies... but the chicks not doing any work...?? Only on the phone... Anyways, great job... Very imaginative on all of your work. Excellent..!

Nice work, but totally unrealistic. Officially this airstrip is closed and...there is absolutely ..... nothing. Here is an official description of the airstrip: https://www.shortfield.com/listing/sluice-creek-or/

Well now you have a nice place to land in that area...

Welcome to the backcountry. Sounds like something that immediately sparks my interest. Besides that, it's still shown as open on the official vfr sectional and sattelite imagery of 2023 even shows runway markings and a "O", meaning open.
