Thanks! But even though I turned off the show registration option, "ASX788" appears twice on each side of the fuselage towards the rear.

To remedy this problem, you have to go into the base plane's files. Open the "aircraft.cfg" file.
Look for the line "atc_id = "ASX788" ; tail number" and just delete the "ASX788".
The line should now look like this: "atc_id = "" ; tail number".

you have to edit the Panel.BASE.cfg file with a certain set of text, I'll send it when I get home

To remove the tail number from this livery, find your panel.cfg file (community/livery_folder/SimObjects/Airplanes/livery_name/panel.XXX.cfg) and insert the following at the bottom (ensure there is a line break between it and other text):
