Description
Columbia Valley Airfields 1. This is Revelstoke B.C.(CYRV)
I did a LOT of terrain work here. If you ever used the default Revelstoke
runway you know what I mean. The runway and surrounding land
were completely flat and the water sloped drastically downhill away from it.
A lot of the terrain was covered by trees that didn't belong and water surfaces
were missing (load up the default version and get a good look before you install this).
I kind of jumped around here. This isn't the Okanagan Valley but this is a really cool
airstrip that desperately needed attention.I'm still learning Blender so I can get
Penticton done right and then Kelowna. Maybe Salmon Arm for the last one. This one is in
the Columbia River Valley (which is probably where I'm headed next anyway).

CYRV Revelstoke
SU12 has broken this scenery. Still functional , but water is not right. Hopefully they fix it soon. Columbia Valley Airfields 1. This is Revelstoke B.C.(CYRV) I did a LOT of terrain work here. CYGE Golden
*Updated* Again. Sorry (see changelog) (new pics). Columbia Valley Airfields 4. This is Golden BC (CYGE). It has a 1,370m asphalt runway. No night lighting. I edited some water surfaces and added the nearby train trestle, logyard and railyard. Hand placed objects at the airfield. The runway, aprons, taxiways and parking have all been redone and a helipad added. This is the latest in my Columbia Valley Airfields series.

Penticton, B.C. CYYF
This is Penticton, B.C.(CYYF) Nearly all buildings are hand made. Runway, Taxiways, Aprons and Parking have all been redone. I did the best I could using Google Earth and as many images as I could find. I'm sure there are inaccuracies. Also there are a few things missing because I couldn't figure out what they were, but overall I'm pretty satisfied.

CZAM Salmon Arm
*Updated (Removed approach and center runway lights and added taxiway edge lights) Thanks to "CptMoustache" Okanagan Valley Airfields 6. This is Salmon Arm, BC (CZAM). It has a 1,300m night lit runway and PAPI The Runway, aprons, taxiways and parking have all been redone and objects are hand placed. This one isn't technically in the Okanagan Valley, but it is nearby. Last one in this area before I start making my own objects and try to do Penticton.

CZNL Nelson BC
This is Nelson BC (CZNL). It has a 945m runway. I added the hotel (with a fictional heli pad), marinas and boats. I did some hand editing of the nearby shorelines and added a few private docks. Many of the nearby parking lots and the bus garage have been edited and filled with vehicles and street lamps/lighting added. There's a train in the yard nearby and I replaced the generic bridge. There is an older version of this airport by PropellerBC (who I contacted before publishing and has no plans to update). If you have this old version remember to delete it.

Thank you. Found a glitch: When you try to spawn the airfield, MSFS produces an warning saying you cannot take off from a water runway with the selected aircraft. I tried various three wheel GA aircraft. If I use a float plane with wheels, everything is fine.
I FOUND MY PROBLEM. I HAD ANOTHER ADD-ON CYRV REVELSTOKE CREATED BY 'DOUG'. DIRECTORY WAS SIMPLY cyrv Revelstoke. I COULD NOT FIND IT ANYMORE ON FLIGHTSIM.TO SO IT MUST HAVE NEEN REMOVED. I REMOVED THE OTHER AIRPORT AND YOUR SCENERY WORKED FINE. Sorry, but this will be good to know for others who might get the conflict.

Awesome job here. This fixed some issues with departure as mentioned previously and looks a whole lot better.

I can't reproduce the glitch. I'm able to spawn in any aircraft in either parking spot. Heli's work on the pad. I did have this problem with Vernon BC, but I fixed it.
I'll pin this comment so if anyone else has this issue they can let me know.
Thanks!!

Great! Glad you found the problem! I was wondering if it was some kind of conflict. Thanks for the update!

Very nice! But may I suggest to you to try and abbreviate the file name a bit as it may cause problems for some people, either in their initial attempts to open it, or in storing it to other file folders. It's not an issue as a stand alone file on the desktop, but as soon as you try to store it withing a Folder that has several sub folders, some folks will encounter problems. Update: Vast improvement over previous versions, especially with ASOBO's updated Canadian Scenery. Been quite sometime since I flew in this area, and your enhancement made it quite enjoyable!
