Description
Even though the Asobo Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (add-on) is not as detailed as the Fly Tampa one will be (hopefully soon). We will have to work with what we have for the moment. I decided to create a package with some additions that I feel are improving the scenery big time.
DISCLAIMER: The scenery is not very corresponding with the actual situation at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. That is why some ground markings and P/B procedures are a bit different from the real thing. However they are as close as they could get within this scenery.
What's done?
- GSX Pro profile (replace vehicles for an obstuction free taxi-in/out, special pushback procedures and safedock systems at all terminal building gates)
- Ground markings indicating gate numbers (some gates do not excist in the Asobo add-on, but I did the best I could)
- Ground markings showing the max wingspan at all terminal gate entry taxiways
- Ground markings showing the white pushback lines (used for pushback in real life at Amsterdam)
- Removed glutter on the middle of the apron (some ground glutter is nice, but don't go nuts right?)
- Removed glutter that was in front of the safedock positions
Installation?
- For the scenery enhancement simply place the two files in your Community folder (after which you'll have to restart your simulator)
Usually found at: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community - For the GSX Pro profile you usually navigate to C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\virtuali\GSX\MSFS
Paste the file "eham-owszaz.ini" into this folder and restart your sim (and Couatl).
For questions you may always e-mail support@duijffmedia.nl (in English and/or Dutch). However additional tweaks wont be made as I expect Fly Tampa to release early 2023.

I was also gonna ask if this is compatible with my own enhancements? If so thank you very much, I only added a very small amout of ground enhancements because Asobo's ground markings inaccesibility is an absolute pain to work against. Can only hope FlyTampa finally releases EHAM

After some testing, I can confirm that they are almost fully compatible (and your mod looks incredible), except for the doubled hold-short markers at the runways, which we both have in our respective sceneries.

The taxiway signs also duplicate, but other than that, I encountered no serious conflicts.
Please join your forces for a consolidated Schiphol, that would be great!

I dont believe making it one pack would work, but making it two complementing addons would be, and I'd be down to achieve that asap.

Sorry for my late reply! I actually use your add-on too. I did not add any taxipaths, lines or adjusted the asobo version. Just added there ground markings.
