Description
I leave it on fs.to only for archives / reference, the most important issues (like the lack of supercharger) have been fixed on the official release anyway.
I'll see when FS2024 is out if a mod is still justified (I hope not :).
Thanks to anyone who enjoyed this mod and gave positive feedback.

Junkers Ju-52 Mod (Stage 1)
The Microsoft Junkers Ju-52, built by Oliver Moser, is a very affordable plane with some great qualities, however it feels quite "unfinished", as if the developer had been rushed to release then denied the budget to spend more time on it to fix the problems (such a thing wouldn't happen, would it ? Naaaah).
This mod improves the 1939, float and ski versions only, not the "retrofit".
Installation- If a previous version of the mod was installed, delete it.
- Unzip the file into your Community folder.
- Manifold pressure can now go up to 1.3 ATA (39 in.Hg) thanks to the supercharger ; critical altitude is 2600m (8500 ft).
- Lift & drag adjusted : the plane is a little less eager to jump off the ground at takeoff.
- Lift & drag adjusted : the plane is less "floaty" on approach.
- Incrased elevator trim efficiency ; you should now be able to trim for level flight on two engines, or at a low power setting.
- No more blinding landing lights reflecting in the propeller.
- No more visual movement of the elevator when the elevator trim is used (in the Ju-52, the elevator trim moves the horizontal plan in front of the elevators. Alas it is not animated).
- Small texture corrections for the cockpit ; I didn't make these but don't remember where I got them from. Contact me if you did them and I will credit you.
- Unshaded the cockpit glass.
- Fixed: the flaps indicator needle is now backlighted, like the elevator trim needle.
- Fixed the glareshield lighting potentiometer tooltip.
- The radio frequency backlighting now stops when the battery is off.
See the included readme.txt file for advice on how to fly the modded Ju-52.

Hiho, first Thanks for your Work. :)
but i have a Question. Since i use your Mod the switches for the Ladder, Brake Blocks and the Passengerroom Lighting are totally unfunctional. Other switches still have their Mouseover Function.
The issue raised on the 1939m3 Modell.
is it just me or is it a mistake?
Tanks and best regards

I notice when you're in a cold and dark state, that the fuel and lubricant levers do not operate. This was while using the default livery with no modes for the 1939 version.

Hi there, thank you for your work enhancing this plane. It's a beautiful model and great fun to fly. Regarding adjustments to lift/drag, the approach glideslope feels much more realistic now, and I feel like I can actually land instead of hovering over half the runway length. For takeoff though in my first test it took off in zero meters (I was using live weather in Reykjavik Airport, which had 22knot headwind at the time) I tested again without a headwind and it still took off just as quick if not quicker than the default MSFS version with zero backpressure, so in this regards I think there may be room for improvement, I can share videos of this behavior if requested, my pitch trim was at the default.

Thank you! It’s really disappointing to have such aircraft being left half finished and abandoned. It could and should be so much better. Just as curiosity, what kind of access to the files is needed to create a reality expansion to make all the systems operative and a full fidelity aircraft? Is it possible with these models from Asobo? Or just some minor tweaks to some variables? Cheers!

Stage 2 is not going well ... Very hard to achieve what I want, so don't hold your breath. Anyway, here's a new Stage 1 update : - Unshaded the cockpit glass. - Fixed: the flaps indicator needle is now backlighted, like the elevator trim needle. - Fixed the glareshield lighting potentiometer tooltip. - The radio frequency backlighting now stops when the battery is off. - Tested for SU11 compatibility.
