It is situated in the commune of Mérignac, 12 km (7.5 mi) west of Bordeaux, within the département of the Gironde. It mainly features flights to metropolitan and leisure destinations in Europe and Northern Africa and serves as a base for easyJet, Ryanair and Volotea airlines.

Trees Fix LFBD-v4.1.0 FS24
This add-on provides a fix for the LFBD Bordeaux-Mérignac airport scene by removing trees and autogen buildings to ensure compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 following a June 2024 update. Users can easily install it by extracting and placing the folder into their Community directory. No further updates to this scene are planned for FS2024.
