Description:

Linzhi Minlin Airport (Nyingchi Mainling Airport) is made for the city of Linzhi in Tibet Autonomous region, China and is in operation since 2006. Linzhi Airport is known to have one of the most challenging approaches on Earth due to the high altitude of the airport, steep mountain, and very poor weather in the region. This is my high quality recreation of the airport since it is very outdated in the original version in MSFS. I also made high quality buildings and new ground vehicles to match real world. Also, the airport layout is updated with a new terminal expansion and taxiways opened in 2020/2021. I also improved trees and terrain near the airport and added some objects such as power infrastructure on the mountains.

The airport uses only RNP for approach procedures and I added 2 RNP approaches but they are not 100% accurate to real world. for RW23 arrival, select 9D/DUMIX approach. for RW05 arrival, select 9A/DUMIX approach. I also added departures for both runways.

Install instructions

Move "kui-zunz" to the packages>"Community" folder of MSFS, the location depends on your version installed

ZUNZ Linzhi Minlin Airport (Nyingchi Mainling Airport)

Nyingchi Mainling Airport ( 林芝米林机场 / ཉིང་ཁྲི་སྨན་གླིང་གྲུ་ཐང་ ) is a class 4D airport in Minlin County, Linzhi, in Tibet Autonomous Region, China at an elevation of 2,949m. The first landing of a commercial aircraft was made by an Air China Boeing 757 without passengers on July 12, 2006. Six weeks later the first commercial flight with passengers was made to the airport. The airport uses a required navigation performance (RNP) approach procedure to provide instrument approach guidance through surrounding valleys to the vicinity of the runway threshold.
