    Description


    Scenery of Tilburg (    inner city)
    This time a nice high quality rendition of the city of Tilburg. Color corrected and extremely well blended in the surrounding default scenery with great performance. including real/default water for maximum realism. Corrected waters and canals by hand. Night lighting for famous buildings will follow in a later update.     I tried to find a good balance in performance vs visuals so that's why the focus is on the inner part of the city. Happy VFR flying!

    Known issues:
    - Colors are corrected as far as possible but some textures can still be a bit off.
    - Some buildings in the 'binnenstad' can be a bit sunken into the ground but this is hardly visible from the sky.

    Credits
    This scenery has been extracted from Google Maps, hence all 3D credits goes to Google.
    This scenery has been generated with the help of the Google Earth Decoder tool.

    Installation
    Drag and drop the folder 'tilburg' to your MSFS Community folder.

    I like the effort, but to me it looks worse than the in-game buildings. Everything looks too dark. I think it would look better if only the landmark buildings would be added, and everything as foliage would use the in-game models.

    It is is a matter of taste. I am convinced that the models in this scenery are more recognizable than the generic MSFS autogen models. Beside that it is almost impossible to match exact the MSFS scenery colours. 😉

    I understand why it is what it is. I'm not sure if it's possible to do a higher detail version of the scenery, and to include the whole city. I think it would look better when the whole city is the same colorscheme as opposed to only part of the city. I'm not sure how this whole process works or if this is possible.

    Yeah. I like it very much, and now also The Haque, my place of birth. I hope sometimes there will be a good manual (for noobs) to make such sceneries. What I found until now is not usable (for me / I have no "reddit").

    There is unfortunately no 3D Google data from Tiel.
