Catalina Airport ( Airport in the Sky - Now ACE Clearwater Airfield) This mod brings in proper assets to the airfield to make it look closer to the real thing. This mod Terraforms the runway to slope like in the real world, replaces ground textures with google earth imagery and even adds some wild life ( buffalos ) if youcan spot them!
Mod includes:
(foxtrot-catalina Folder)
- Terraform to slope runway like the real thing. - Custom Terminal (faux) tower/shop/restaurant.- Custom "Catalina Airport" Hangar.- Custom California Palm Trees- Custom Wood Fence by parking lot.- Custom Avalon "Ballroom" round building. - Reworked ground textures.- Updated runway to new Repaved version and updated all its markings. - Custom "Barrel" Segmented Circle.- Custom Island Buffalo Herd found at 2 locations ( try and spot them!) - Added a few misc items to make it look more interesting.
(kavx-aerial Folder) OPTIONAL
- Replaces Bing Maps imagery with Google Earth Imagery on terrain around airport.

- Corrected Windsock issues after USA update. - Added night lighting around terminal and hangar. - added a few more parking spawn options. - Addressed modelib files to avoid conflicts. NOTICE: If you have not installed v1.0/v1.1 you will need to download that version to get the "kavx-aerial" folder that contains the Google imagery ( which is optional - though recommended )Just be sure you remove any old "foxtrot-catalina" folders and replace it with the v1.2 so that you are up to date.

The new Sim update added KAVX scenery in the default scenery and it seems to overwrite the old dev tools that we used to remove the default scenery, so it doubles up and confuses the terraforming. I'd recommend removing this add on from your community folder and trying the default one, its actually quite good now, and I unfortunately have no plan to update as it will take a significant amount of time to rework the custom scenery.

As of update 8 this update will cause the sim to hang when going to the airport. Tested multiple times and I am sure this is the culprit.

Works with recent update. Avaon bay needs some work boats appear sunk (not all).
