This mod adds the tulip fields in the Netherlands to the game, a spectacular and colorful sight. These tulips actually only color the fields for a week or so, before their leaves are picked off, to make the plant focus its resources to its seeds, which the tulip companies sell. But in contrast to reality, you can add these fields permanently to your game!

This is an early version, so for example the low altitude (like 300 feet) resolution is really nice, but it suffers once people fly over at normal altitudes. It also doesn't yet have a lot of fields, but for now you can find them between Schiphol airport and the coast (it is marked on the map, named: Tulip Fields). This add-on is, for now, just an indication, although honest opinions, suggestions or comments are very much welcome!

Since the newest SDK (0.12.0), the textures seem to be much better compressed, making for a better view from above 1000 foot. Please let me know if this is also the case for you if you are updating to the 1.0 release version!
