Description
This iconic gateway to New York Harbor was the longest suspension bridge in the World from 1964 until 1981. Its two towers are 41 mm farther apart at the top than at the base due to the curvature of the Earth. It's a familiar sightseeing destination for New York VFR pilots who take "The Subway" corridor down the Hudson River below the Class B Airspace. This framerate-friendly model can be seen from many miles around the New York City area, but careful design keeps the load on your rig to a minimum. Fly over it, land on it or fly under it. Sorry, the Peregrine Falcons that nest and breed on its towers are not included, but rest assured that bridge maintenance personnel see to the welfare of this endangered species.
The bridge is constantly undergoing revisions and maintenance, so this model is a composite of several years' changes. It's part of a collection of over 40 New York City bridges created and used by the author. Textures are provided by textures.com or otherwise hand-crafted in Blender by the author - including all the road signs. Enjoy!

just needs the traffic backed up 5 miles in either direction and you've got it!

And wads and wads of money being thrown at the toll collectors!

This looks pretty amazing. Thank you.
Did you include an exclusion rectangle so that the bridge is compatible with RKBridger's "NYC Bridges" Payware? (must say your version of the bridge looks much better!)

Thanks for the compliment! There is an exclusion polygon. Tell me whether it works or not, please.

Not working with RKbridger, exclusion polygon not working, bridge is duplicate. Because must say your version of the bridge looks much better!
