What a honor to see my livery in the SU5 start loading screen and the Xbox announcement trailer!
This Livery is available in three versions:
- Main File = is the original design of this livery and comes with the registration underlyed with Yellow. Registration can be changed to anything other than HORNET but it would look stupid
- X-Cub Hornet gray Registration = is the original design but with a changable and gray Registration like the Husky and the 172 Taildragger version of this livery has.
- X-Cub Hornet Yellow oval Registration = is the same design with a changeable registration in black and a yellow oval around the registration for better visability. (this version was often called ugly thats why i decided to update a version with gray registration:))

Great livery for a great plane. Any chance that the NXcub might get the same delightful livery?

No Sorry. The NX has a totally different model and there for a totaly different texture layout. This means it is not possible to just simpley port the textures over.
This seems to stay a taildragger livery only ;) Sorry

No worries, still a great livery. I thought about requesting it for the float version, but then realized just how wrong that would look, LOL. Many thanks for all you do!

well asobo ported it over for the float version fot the xbox trailer. That would actually be possible. you could easy do that your self if you want to do it for you. i am not sure if i want to port it over. I allready have to many liveries out there which i have to keep updateted. thats a whole lot of work after every sim update ;)

Pink fallback cockpit texture visible at night anyone?

ok checked. And found the problem. It is there if you zoom out in outside view but not only in the night also during the day but less visible due day light.
I will provice a fix in the next few days for all my x-Cub liveries if i have time.
If you want to fix it your self follow this steps (sample livery is the regular Hornet)
go to the the folder ...\Asobo_XCub_HORNET\SimObjects\Airplanes\HORNET\TEXTURE.HORNETopen up the file texture.CFGreplace everything in there with the following[fltsim]

fallback.2=..\..\..\..\texture\AS3X
fallback.3=..\..\..\..\texture\Glass
fallback.4=..\..\..\..\texture\DetailMap

i was not aware of it so thanks for the report. I was able to fix all my X-Cubs now just need to upload them. Thanks and glad you like it.

thanks for the update. one of my favorites. I've been using this since you first made it public and was hoping I would be able to after SU5. Thanks for sharing your work. Oh yea, it was great seeing this on the opening splash screen. grats.
