    Description

    New Caledonia Airports pack, France.

    This is a pack of all the airports and small airfields in New Calediona.

    • Existing airfields in MSFS have received very simple modifications : mostly tree removal at the ends of the runways.
    • New airfields have been added, with no scenery (yet)

    I'll try to update this pack and bring life to some of the airports as I really enjoy flying there with NeoFly

    Asobo WU13 :

    As of World Update 13, Oceania was improved and "Jean-Marie Tjibaou cultural center" has been modeled.

    If you like to fly in this area, I recommend you install the WU. In that case, do not install "Noumea scenery" or you'll have both models of the center at the same place.

    If you already have a better scenery for one of theses places, don't install the corresponding directory from this pack (they're all separated) : Open the zip and copy only the other directories

    Hello, might this scenery be working with MSFS2024 ? If not is there any chance to get an updated version for MSFS2024 ?

    Hi, a friend told me about at least two airports showing doubled runways in LittleNavMap, NWWT (a complete overlay, the second runway is covered in this case), and NWWV where you can see both. I can confirm this.

    The real visual impression for the first one is okay. However, the runway markings of the old airstrip are visible. NWWV sends you off the hard corvered part and not lined up to the center line when selecting the active runway as starting point, visible in the MSFS World map, too.

    Probably you can check whether you haven't suppressed the old airport objects properly in both cases.

    Nonetheless thanks for you efforts! I love your C172 variants (even if I often prefer bigger irons).

    Thanks for the report : this is probably since an update of the WU of the region (it's not installed anymore on my setup)

    You can remove each airport one by one if they are already present in the WU (like for the Noumea Scenery for the JM Tjibaou center)

    It seems there in no reason doing anything in order to get those airports working. I've seen much worse things. :-) Actually, in both cases the visuals wouldn't worry me and the misplaced runway starting position in one case just costs a bit of navigating on ground.

    J'ai fait un don hier. Pour le Reims Rocket (que je n'utilise pas assez souvent... mais qui est formidable) et surtout pour ce travail sur mon île de coeur.

    Si ça peut te motiver à en faire encore plus pour nos TOM du Pacifique... ;)

    La NC me fait rêver. Il faudrait que je m'y remette. Je pensais ajouter des héliports mais je n'ai pas trouvé de liste officielle pour ça.

    Ha je trouve le leur plutôt bien fait.

    Je ne suis pas sûr qu'on puisse écraser/remplacer une scène au même endroit, autre qu'un aéroport... A tester

    Salut Bagolu je suis vraiment content de voir que tu ais fait l'aérodrome de Nesson !

    il a fermé entre 1970 et 1980 . Ma mère l'a connue mais pas moi...

    Je trouve que tu as fait un bel hommage a ce vieil aérodrome qui a bien servi !

    NWWC needs its runway realigned (it's correct in stock MSFS), NWWT has buildings on the apron. Would like to see parking positions added for some of the airports, but good job.

    Thanks bagolu! I might go make a scenery request for the Jean-Marie Tjibaou Cultural Center. It would be very tricky to make but would look awesome! I'm sure someone out there has the blender skills!
