KAXX - Angel Fire Airport
Angel Fire Airport is a publicly owned and operated airport in the small resort town of Angel Fire in northern New Mexico. The airport sits in a valley at an elevation of 8380 ft and is surrounded by steep terrain which rises another 3-5,000 ft above the runway. The runway itself is 8900x100 ft / 2713x30 m in dimensions. The airport is serviced by the Colfax County Angel Fire FBO that offer tie-downs, hangar space, and fuel for both 100LL and Jet-A.
Features (1.0):
- Retextured the runway, taxiway, and ramp
- Custom 3D model for the FBO and a few miscellaneous buildings and objects
- Custom, handplaced taxiway lines
- Added parking locations including one by the fuel pumps and one in the hangar
- Correct windsock locations

Windhover, I was thrilled to see this appear in the daily uploads. As a big fan of your other addons, and a KAXX fan from decades of flight simming, the download button got hit as fast as my finger could move. The FBO office and hanger renditions - and especially night lighting - are rendered superbly, and from what RL photos are available, quite accurately too. Thank you and enjoy the coffee.

Thank you very much! I thought I'd try something new with this one by really going into detail on the interior model of the FBO and getting the night light settings dialed in so I'm extremely pleased you noticed both. :D

This is the absolute last airport I would have expected to find trending on here. I used to work at Philmont and I love to fly in and out of the area in the sim, especially in VR. This is wonderfully well done and this made my night seeing this created.
Now if only the rest of the area could be modeled like Taos, Angel Fire, Eagle Nest, Red River, Cimarron, Philmont, Raton, etc. This part of the country is my absolute favorite.
